Hendersonville Strike & Spare Family Fun Center

Hendersonville Strike & Spare Family Fun Center sits in Hendersonville, Tennessee, a friendly suburb just north of Nashville, along Volunteer Drive. It’s a long-running local landmark that has grown into one of the area’s biggest one-stop family entertainment destinations, drawing visitors from across Sumner County and the greater Nashville region.

Bowling, Laser Tag & Everything in Between

The heart of the center is its bowling operation, with dozens of lanes that range from traditional open bowling to bumper lanes made just for small children. When the lights go down, Cosmic Bowling transforms the lanes into a glowing, music-driven space with special effects lighting that feels more like a nightclub than a bowling alley. There are leagues, tournaments, youth programs, VIP lanes, and a pro shop for bowlers who want to take the game seriously. Beyond the lanes, the attached Circus World area is where the action really spreads out. A single wristband unlocks unlimited access to laser tag, bumper cars, roller skating, a bungee trampoline, a VR roller coaster, Time Freak, and Lazer Frenzy, plus a free game of bowling with shoe rental. It’s a setup designed so families can wander from one attraction to the next without worrying about per-game costs.

The Sci-Fi Laser Tag Arena

The laser tag arena is a sci-fi themed space with glowing pillars and a futuristic feel that makes it a favorite for kids and parents alike. It isn’t the largest arena in the region, but it’s big enough for fast, exciting ten-minute games that keep players moving and laughing. Children need to be at least five years old to play, and the space is kept family-friendly and affordable, which is why so many visitors list laser tag as one of the top reasons to come. The arena is part of the broader Circus World wristband experience, so guests can hop between laser tag, bumper cars, and skating in a single visit. For those who prefer to pay per attraction, individual game pricing is also available at the door.

Party Packages Built Around Play

Strike & Spare has earned a reputation as a go-to party headquarters, offering five distinct birthday packages. The Extreme and Wristband packages give guests two hours of unlimited access to the Circus World attractions followed by a 45-minute pizza party in a private party room with a dedicated hostess. The Bowling package keeps things classic with two hours of bowling and shoe rental, while the Highway 66 mini-bowling package uses two dedicated mini lanes for younger crowds. Every package includes pizza, drinks, paper products, a free t-shirt for the birthday child, and a souvenir bowling pin with balloons for guests to sign. A private Softplay party offers four hours in a climate-controlled indoor playground, a safer alternative for toddlers and preschoolers. Guests are welcome to keep playing for the rest of the day after the pizza party at no extra charge.

More Than Games: Dining, Arcades & Comfort

When the games wind down, Conway’s Grill provides a seated restaurant experience named after Conway Twitty, alongside a bar and lounge for the adults. The arcade and ticket redemption center offers dozens of games where players can earn tickets and trade them in for prizes. There’s also a soft play area for the youngest visitors and a pro shop for bowling gear. Party rooms are set up for groups to gather before or after play, and the whole facility is designed so that families can comfortably spend an entire day without leaving. Outside food and drinks aren’t permitted, though cake and ice cream are welcome exceptions for celebrations.

A Place for Every Occasion

While birthday parties are the center’s specialty, the space is equally suited to school outings, teen parties, company gatherings, fundraisers, and adult parties. The staff includes party hostesses who set up tables, serve food, and clean up, taking the stress out of hosting. The center has been voted a favorite party venue by local readers, and its combination of bowling, attractions, dining, and private rooms makes it a versatile choice for everything from casual family nights to organized group events.
