FPS Airsoft Club is located in the rural area of North Gower, about a 30-minute drive south of downtown Ottawa, off Third Line Road near the Rideau River.

An Indoor Arena Built for Tactical Play

The playing field at FPS Airsoft Club spans roughly 20,000 square feet of indoor space, making it one of the larger dedicated airsoft arenas in the Ottawa region. Rather than a single open room, the arena is divided into multiple themed zones that include a mock urban environment with building facades and alleyways, a warehouse section with stacked crates and shipping containers, and a series of tight corridors and rooms that force close-quarters engagements. The layout rewards both careful planning and quick reflexes, with enough variety to keep regular players coming back for more. Barricades, pallets, barrels, and other props are arranged throughout the arena to provide cover and create natural chokepoints. The lighting is kept low in certain sections to add an element of tension, while other areas are brightly lit for faster-paced skirmishes. The mix of open sightlines and tight corners means that no single play style dominates — a player with a long rifle can hold a hallway, while someone with a compact SMG can clear rooms effectively.

Games That Adapt to the Players

FPS Airsoft Club runs a variety of game modes that change throughout the day. Standard team deathmatch and capture-the-flag rounds are complemented by objective-based scenarios such as bomb defusal, VIP escort, and hostage rescue. The marshals adjust the pace and format based on the size and experience level of the group, ensuring that both first-time players and seasoned airsoft veterans find something engaging. For players who do not own their own equipment, the club offers rental packages that include a reliable AEG (automatic electric gun), a full-face mask, and a bag of biodegradable BBs. The rental guns are maintained and tested before each use, so newcomers can step onto the field without worrying about gear malfunctions. The club also has a small pro shop on site where players can purchase BBs, gas, and replacement parts if needed.

A Community Built Around the Sport

What makes FPS Airsoft Club stand out is the sense of community that has grown around it. The regular players know each other by name, and new visitors are welcomed and shown the ropes by both staff and experienced regulars. The marshals are active participants in the airsoft community and take the time to explain the rules, demonstrate safe handling practices, and offer tactical advice to anyone who asks. The club hosts regular open play sessions on weekends, as well as private bookings for groups who want the arena to themselves. Special events, such as night games with reduced lighting or themed scenarios, are organized periodically to keep the experience fresh. The atmosphere is respectful and safety-conscious, with strict chrono (velocity testing) for all guns and a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe behavior.

Built for Groups and Celebrations

FPS Airsoft Club is a natural fit for birthday parties, bachelor parties, corporate team-building events, and group outings. Private bookings allow a group to have the entire arena to themselves, with marshals dedicated to running games tailored to the group's preferences. The club can accommodate groups of varying sizes, from small squads of half a dozen players to larger parties of twenty or more. For corporate groups, airsoft offers a hands-on team-building experience that requires communication, coordination, and trust. The structured game modes encourage players to work together under pressure, and the physical nature of the activity provides a break from the usual office environment. The club's staff handle the logistics, so organizers can focus on making sure their team has a good time.

A Place to Gather Between Rounds

Between games, players can relax in the club's indoor waiting area, which is equipped with seating and a small snack bar. The space serves as a staging area where players can chrono their guns, chat with other participants, and recharge before the next match. The atmosphere is casual and social, with players often discussing strategies, comparing gear, and planning their next move together. The facility also includes a designated safe zone where guns must be kept in a non-firing state when not on the field. This area is clearly marked and monitored by staff, ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times. For players who drive out from the city, the rural location means plenty of free parking and a quiet setting that feels a world away from the urban environment.
