A Family-Owned Bowling and Laser Tag Center in Katy

Times Square Entertainment is located in Katy, Texas, along the Grand Parkway South. The center opened in 2005 as a family-owned venture. Its founder, an engineer who left the oil industry to run bowling centers, picked Katy because it was one of the fastest-growing communities around. The building covers about 48,000 square feet.

A Glow-in-the-Dark Laser Tag Arena for Short Rounds

Laser tag takes place in a glow-in-the-dark arena of about 2,500 square feet. Games are 15 minutes long, and the venue lists a minimum age of 6. Visitors have noted that the equipment works well, and one guest said they liked this arena better than some more expensive ones because everything functioned properly. Laser tag runs on a schedule, so groups sign up for a time slot instead of walking in at any moment. Reservations are available at group rates when space allows, which suits birthday parties and team outings.

Thirty Public Lanes, a Private Suite, and Glow Bowling

The bowling center has 36 lanes, including six lanes in a private bowling suite with its own billiard table, special lighting, and big projection screens. Bumpers are available for children, and glow bowling turns the lanes into a nighttime party. Several local high school teams use the lanes for practice and matches, and the center hosts regular leagues. Guests who want to stretch their budget can visit during the late-night open bowling specials. Reviewers describe packages with bowling, laser tag, and arcade credit for a flat fee, along with trivia and giveaways.

Billiards, Arcade Games, and a Sports Bar

Between rounds, guests can play on 11 pool tables or head to the arcade, which has more than 50 games including redemption titles. The Manhattan Sports Bar and Grill serves burgers, pizza, salads, and appetizers, and about a dozen TV screens make it a place to catch a game. Reviewers describe the food as good for a bowling alley and the pizza as a highlight for parties. The venue also has a pro shop and a full bar for adults.

Birthdays, School Fundraisers, and Corporate Events

Birthday parties are a major focus, with party packages that mix bowling, laser tag, a party room, a game card for the birthday child, and food. The center also hosts school events, fundraisers, company functions, and meetings, and it has meeting space for business groups. A reviewer who brought a group praised the staff for keeping the party on a tight schedule. Another noted that it works well for small company gatherings and friend meetups.
