All Star Bowling & Entertainment – Valley Fair

A 70,000-Square-Foot Entertainment Center in Valley Fair Mall

All Star Bowling & Entertainment is located inside Valley Fair Mall in West Valley City, Utah, southwest of downtown Salt Lake City. The venue covers about 70,000 square feet of bowling, virtual reality, laser tag, bumper cars, and arcade games. It is one of five locations of a Utah-based brand, and it is open every day, with longer hours on weekends.

Laser Tag With a Good Layout and Plenty of Equipment

Laser tag is one of the main team attractions, and it is priced per person at a lower rate Monday to Thursday than on weekends and holidays. Reviewers on Yelp’s laser tag list mention that the arena has a good layout and that vests and guns are in good condition. A reviewer described a visit that combined laser tag, VR games, and an unlimited amount of arcade play. Laser tag is also part of the center’s kids’, teen, and adult birthday packages, either as one attraction or as part of unlimited attractions for two hours.

Bumper Cars, Virtual Reality, and an Arcade

The bumper car arena is open to guests at least 44 inches tall, and it is priced like laser tag. The center also offers virtual reality, which reviewers mention in the same breath as the arcade. The arcade has hundreds of games on play cards, and an Escapology escape room has operated at the location for groups that prefer puzzles to action. Guests can mix and match attractions with game credits.

A Big Bowling Alley With Cosmic Lighting

The bowling center is large, with many lanes, modern scoring, and bumpers for little bowlers. Cosmic bowling adds black lights, lasers, fog, and music for evening groups. Lane prices vary by time of day and by group size. The venue also has an adults-only lounge, which one reviewer described as a space just for grown-up kids. Some reviewers say the experience can feel expensive, so checking the lane rate before booking helps.

Birthdays, Corporate Events, and Group Parties

The center hosts birthday parties for children, teens, and adults, along with corporate and private events. Private events include two hours of bowling, shoe rental, and a dedicated event host, and attractions such as laser tag and bumper cars can be added. Each guest can add a single attraction for a few dollars, so organizers can build a package around a budget. Staff take care of setup and cleanup.
