Temple Airsoft

A Weekend Airsoft Field Outside Temple, Texas

Temple Airsoft, officially Temple Tactical Airsoft, is located just outside the city limits of Temple, Texas, in rural Bell County. The field is run by a local owner under the name All Era Militaria. It calls itself the largest airsoft and military simulation playground in Texas, and it has become a gathering place for the central Texas airsoft community. The site is easy to miss, and the owners advise players not to rely on GPS to reach it.

Seven Playgrounds and More Than 220 Structures

The outdoor complex has seven separate playgrounds with more than 220 structures, such as buildings, trees, and storage containers. Reviewers describe the open field as visually appealing, with varied terrain that gives both new and experienced players room to move and plan. Games range from 20 players to as many as 350, so the field can handle everything from a casual group to a large organized event. Players do not need to belong to a team, because normal play is team-versus-team skirmishes in which new arrivals are sorted into squads.

Skirmishes, Milsim, and Living History Battles

Beyond casual games, the field offers military simulation play and historical programs. Its living history events recreate battles from Desert Storm, the two World Wars, and Vietnam with historical accuracy. These games attract reenactors and milsim fans who want a story and a mission, not only a scoreboard. Safety rules are strict. The field uses chronograph testing for replicas, requires ASTM-rated eye protection, runs medic stations, and has the field owner on site. Reviewers also mention an on-site YouTube content creator who adds to the community.

A Pro Shop, Repair Tech, and Rental Guns

The on-site store stocks more than 10,000 items, including tactical gear, historical items, and airsoft guns. A technician can repair replicas on site, and the staff can order anything the store does not carry from a large network of dealers, usually for pickup within a few days. Rental replicas are available for players without gear. One reviewer noted that the starter rental guns may not be the best for beginners, so first-timers may want to ask the staff for advice before choosing.

Birthdays, Corporate Games, and Community Giving

Temple Airsoft hosts birthday parties, corporate games, military and law enforcement training exercises, and private games on request. Group packages include rental replicas, which makes them easy for beginners. The community around the field has donated over $15,000 to local and national charities, and the field partners with local organizations such as an animal rescue. Concessions are available on site, and the field is open on weekends.
