Advanced Action Sports

Advanced Action Sports sits in West Warwick, Rhode Island, roughly twenty minutes south of Providence and just off I-95. Its 32,000-square-foot indoor action sports center is the largest of its kind in New England by gross square footage, making it a genuine destination for anyone chasing a full day of tactical play.

More Than One Way to Play

The West Warwick location is built around variety. Visitors can step into airsoft, reball paintball, laser tag, gel blaster battles, and classic Nerf foam-dart warfare, all under one roof. For those who prefer a digital battlefield, the venue also hosts Space VR, recognized as Rhode Island’s largest free-roam virtual reality center. Each activity is treated as its own experience, with dedicated arenas and equipment. Airsoft offers realistic combat with spherical plastic projectiles, while gel blasters deliver a gentler, family-friendly impact that appeals to younger players. Nerf battles round out the lineup with high-energy foam-dart skirmishes that are a favorite for kids and beginners.

An Arena Built to Shift and Surprise

The playing field features a modular design that lets the layout adapt quickly, so no two visits feel quite the same. This flexibility keeps close-quarters action fresh and allows the space to transform for different game types, from fast-paced skirmishes to more deliberate tactical play. The facility is described as a world-class playing space, with urban-style cover and plenty of room to maneuver. Because the arena can be reconfigured, it suits everything from casual walk-on games to structured events, giving regulars a reason to keep coming back.

Scenarios, MilSim, and Signature Programs

Beyond open play, the club runs organized sessions that range from action-packed shooting matches to immersive live-action role-playing (LARP) scenarios. Military simulation (MilSim) and historical reenactments are part of the mix, offering players a chance to step into another era or take on tactical roles. For groups, there are structured party packages at several levels, from economy open-play sessions to private-play experiences with dedicated staging areas. The VR side adds cooperative games and escape rooms, including Lunarscape, The B-Block Breakout, and Greenium, giving teams a puzzle-driven alternative to the shooting arenas.

Gear, Retail, and On-Site Support

The venue includes a fully equipped retail store where players can pick up gear, and on-site repairs are available for those who need their equipment serviced. Rentals are offered across the activities, so newcomers can jump in without owning any equipment. The pro shop and repair services make it a practical home base for both casual visitors and dedicated enthusiasts. Staff are on hand to help with equipment, answer questions, and offer suggestions for improving on the battlefield, which lowers the barrier for first-timers.

Made for Celebrations and Team Days

The space is well suited to birthdays, corporate outings, team building, and group trips. Private-play packages include staging areas, rental packages, ammunition, and even pizza and water, so hosts can focus on the fun rather than logistics. Group-level packages are designed for larger crowds, and the venue runs its parties rain or shine. Whether it’s a kids’ birthday, a company offsite, or a weekend gathering of friends, the combination of multiple activities under one roof makes it easy to keep everyone entertained.

People Who Keep It Safe and Fun

Experienced staff and trained referees oversee the games, ensuring rules are followed and the environment stays controlled and safe. Their knowledge covers everything from equipment setup to game rules, and they’re known for being able to satisfy a wide range of requests. The emphasis on safety and supervision makes the venue welcoming for families and first-timers, while the staff’s experience keeps seasoned players engaged. It’s the kind of place where the people running the show genuinely care about the experience.
