A One-of-a-Kind Underground Arena

Jaegers Subsurface Paintball is the world’s first and only underground paintball field, built inside a genuine limestone mine. The cave setting provides a naturally cool, consistent temperature year-round and creates an atmosphere you simply cannot find above ground. The main indoor field (Field One) features 55-gallon drums and cave pillars for cover, with a large observation window and seating that runs the length of the field so spectators can watch the action in comfort. Field Two mixes vehicles with drums and can host up to 60 players, while Fields One and Two can be combined into “The Donut” — a massive layout that holds over 150 players.

Fields for Every Play Style and Skill Level

Beyond the main cave fields, Jaegers offers a remarkable variety of spaces. Field Three is set aside for low-impact rentals and private parties, using large wooden spools as cover. Field Four, known as “The Alamo,” features a small replica Alamo alongside hyper pipe, barrels, and concrete obstacles. Field Five is another private-party field with drums and concrete conduit. There is also a dedicated “Young Guns” field for players aged 8 to 12, offering a less intense introduction to the sport. Outdoors, “The Fort” is a Civil War-themed field centered on a 5,200-square-foot fortress with a 360-degree second-floor balcony and six roofed towers — the biggest fort in Kansas City. A regulation NXL speedball field is also available for tournament practice and drills.

Immersive Scenarios and Big Games

Jaegers runs a full calendar of themed events and tournaments throughout the year. Their signature event is the annual “Battle for Earth” Big Game, a multi-mission day-long scenario where players choose sides — defending Earth or fighting to destroy it. The event includes multiple phases like “The Invasion,” “AREA 51,” “The Resistance,” and “Final Stand,” each with its own objectives, scoring, and reinsertion rules. The club also hosts the Heartland Mechanical League and other tournaments, giving competitive players a place to hone their skills in a welcoming environment.

More Than Paintball — Laser Tag and Combo Options

In addition to paintball, Jaegers features Kansas City’s largest laser tag arena at Jaegerz Laser Tag — a 6,000-square-foot space where up to 32 players can compete simultaneously. An electronic scoreboard keeps teams informed during games, and individual score sheets are available afterward. For those who want both experiences in one visit, the Paintball/Laser-Tag Combo package includes a basic rental paintball package with 100 rounds plus two laser tag games, making for a well-rounded day of action.

Built for Groups, Celebrations, and Team Building

Jaegers is a natural fit for birthdays, corporate outings, bachelor parties, church groups, school events, and team-building exercises. Private fields can be rented by the hour with a dedicated referee assigned to your party. The laser tag arena can also be rented out exclusively for groups of up to 30 players. A private room is available for events, with a 30-person capacity, and can be added to most packages. The staff includes trained referees focused on safety and fun, certified equipment technicians (including Planet Eclipse and Tippmann Sports authorized service centers), and a pro shop that sells and repairs paintball markers and gear.
