About

Zero Latency VR sits in the Stonebriar Commons area of west Frisco, Texas, just a short walk from The Star district. The venue shares its neighborhood with a row of restaurants and shops, making it easy to pair a gaming session with a meal nearby.

Free-Roam VR That Lets You Truly Move

The heart of Zero Latency is a tennis court-sized arena that looks almost empty until players strap on their gear. Once the light-blocking headset, noise-canceling headphones, microphone, and backpack computer are on, the room transforms into a fully immersive virtual world. Players are completely untethered — there are no wires, walls, or barriers to interrupt the action, so you can walk, run, and dodge just as you would in real life. Up to eight players share the arena at once, moving freely through the same virtual space. The technology uses perceptual tricks to make the digital environment feel far larger than the physical room, so a skyscraper climb or a sprawling alien landscape feels genuinely vast. Many first-timers forget they are still standing on solid ground, which is exactly the effect the venue is going for.

A Lineup of Tactical and Themed Adventures

The Frisco location offers a rotating selection of free-roam multiplayer games, each lasting roughly 30 to 45 minutes. Zombie Survival and Outbreak Origins drop players into post-apocalyptic outbreaks where they fight off the undead while hunting for a cure. Undead Arena turns survival into a deadly reality show, while Far Cry (rated M for mature audiences) strands players on an island where pirates hunt them for sport. For sci-fi fans, Singularity sends players through a damaged space station to take down rogue robots and drones, and Sol Raiders pits teams against each other for control of an alien energy source. Engineerium offers a puzzle-based challenge in a floating environment on an exotic planet. The venue also added Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine VR, and a non-shooting family-friendly game for younger players, so there is something for nearly every taste and age.

Built for Groups, Celebrations, and Team Building

Zero Latency is a natural fit for birthdays, corporate team-building events, bachelorette parties, and date nights. The average customer is around 31 years old, and the venue regularly hosts companywide bonding sessions and private celebrations. Because the games are cooperative and competitive at the same time, they encourage communication and teamwork without requiring any prior gaming skill. The minimum age is 12, and staff will check with parents before letting younger players into mature-rated experiences like Far Cry. The venue’s own owner has noted that even his 72-year-old father got hooked on the games, which speaks to how accessible the experience is for people of all ages and fitness levels. No experience is needed — you simply put on the headset and get lost in the world.

Friendly Staff and a Comfortable Setting

The team at Zero Latency Frisco is known for guiding newcomers through the gear and rules before each session, making the whole process smooth even for first-timers. The general manager and staff are hands-on, helping players get comfortable with the headsets and controllers so the focus stays on the fun rather than the technology. Because the venue sits within Stonebriar Commons, guests can easily extend their visit with a meal at one of the nearby restaurants after a game. The surrounding area offers plenty of dining and entertainment options, making it simple to turn a VR session into a full outing with friends, family, or coworkers.
