In March 2026, DIVR Labs, a leading designer of virtual worlds and free-roam 4D VR arenas, took a major step in global expansion. At Amusement Expo International 2026, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 18–19, the company debuted the InstaVR Arena in the U.S. market. This is the world’s first fully self-service free-roam VR attraction that operates without any on-site staff.

InstaVR Arena is a compact, high-tech solution designed for family entertainment center (FEC) operators. Its key feature is complete autonomy. The system works on a plug-and-play basis: guests pay by credit card or RFID terminal, and after each session, the VR headsets are automatically cleaned and sanitized in built-in automated drawers. Security cameras and a display monitor ensure guest safety.
Key specifications include:
As Tomas Neubauer, Head of Business Growth at DIVR Labs, put it: “VR in amusement locations has had so much promise — and we are long-time true believers — but for too many operators it presents so many operational problems. We are excited to present InstaVR to address some of the operators’ most frequent concerns and pain points.”
The biggest challenge for FEC owners is high staffing costs. InstaVR Arena eliminates this expense entirely. The system requires no attendant: guests pay, put on the headset, and start playing on their own. This makes the arena an ideal fit for shopping malls, go-kart centers, cinemas, and other venues where every square foot needs to generate revenue.
To serve the U.S. market, DIVR Labs appointed David Torres as Head of U.S. Sales. Torres is a VR industry veteran who previously worked at Hologate and Zero Latency, bringing deep expertise in location-based VR.
The U.S. distributor and installation partner is Rabbit Hole VR, based in Nashville, Tennessee. Parts support will be handled by VR Expert, a leading supplier of American VR and AR hardware since 2012.
Currently, 10 InstaVR Arenas are operating worldwide across the Czech Republic, the UK, France, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. An additional six units have been sold for venues in Kuwait, Scotland, and Moldova. The first installation launched in July 2025 at the Czech Republic’s largest indoor amusement park.
InstaVR Arena is more than just another VR attraction — it’s an evolutionary step forward for the entertainment industry, making virtual reality accessible, scalable, and truly profitable for operators. As David Torres noted: “InstaVR Arena is an evolutionary step forward for free-roam VR. With InstaVR Arena’s turnkey solution and a library of great games, you can operate without an attendant to maximize profitability in a minimal space.”
If you’re looking to upgrade your entertainment center or launch a new project with minimal operational risk, InstaVR Arena is definitely worth a closer look.
