About

All Out Paintball sits on Route 415 in the small Finger Lakes town of Cohocton, New York, roughly an hour south of Rochester and within easy reach of Buffalo and Syracuse. It’s an outdoor action park that has carved out a loyal following across upstate New York.

Five Battlefields, One Backyard

The heart of the park is its collection of five distinct playing fields, each built to offer a different kind of fight. The Hyperball field delivers fast, close-quarters action with its signature bunker-style cover, while the Village map drops players into a mock town setting with buildings and alleys to clear. The Mounds field uses rolling earthen berms for a more tactical, cover-to-cover style of play, and the Woods field stretches out into natural terrain for longer, stealthier engagements. A fifth Hybrid map is on the way, promising to blend elements of the others into something new. Because the fields are so different from one another, a single day here rarely feels repetitive. Groups rotate through the maps, and the change in scenery keeps the pace lively from the first game to the last. The variety also means players of every skill level can find a setting that suits them, from beginners easing into the sport to seasoned regulars who know exactly where to set up.

Games That Keep You Guessing

The park doesn’t just hand you a marker and point you at a field. Staff run a rotating lineup of game formats that keep every session feeling fresh. Team deathmatch, capture the flag, hardpoint, and infected are all on the menu, and the crew is happy to take suggestions for custom scenarios if your group has something specific in mind. Games tend to be fast-paced and action-heavy, designed to keep everyone moving and engaged. For those who want to see how the sport is played at the highest level, All Out Paintball is the home of the FreeFlow Open, an event the park bills as the best of the year. Current ICPL professionals and members of the former professional ICPL team Rhythm regularly train and compete here, so on any given weekend you might find yourself sharing the field with players who make the sport look effortless.

Parties for Every Milestone

This is a place built for celebrations. Birthday parties are the bread and butter, but the park also hosts bachelor parties, graduation parties, and corporate team-building days. For corporate groups, the appeal is obvious: getting a team outside and working together under a little friendly pressure is a far more memorable outing than a conference room. The park also runs low-impact options for younger players, with 50-caliber paintball and gel blaster parties designed for kids as young as five. One of the more unusual perks is that there’s no minimum group size required to book a private party, something few fields in New York can claim. There’s also no maximum, with over a hundred rental setups available for larger crowds. And unlike many venues, there’s no strict time limit on most parties—if the group is still having fun, the day keeps going.

Gear, Safety, and the People Behind It

All Out Paintball is family-owned and operated, and that personal touch shows in how the place is run. The rental equipment is premium quality, cleaned and maintained after every use, and the goggles are fully disassembled, washed, and disinfected between players. The park’s safety record is spotless, with no injuries on record, and every session begins with a thorough run-through of the rules before anyone steps onto the field. The staff stays with open-play groups throughout the day, keeping an eye on safety and making sure everyone follows the rules. Players are welcome to bring their own gear, pending a quick safety check, and the on-site pro shop stocks markers and equipment from the industry’s top brands. The paintballs themselves come from GI Sportz, are non-toxic and eco-friendly, and are formulated not to stain clothing—a small detail that makes the ride home a lot more pleasant.

The Little Things That Make a Day Better

Beyond the fields, the park pays attention to the details that keep a long day of paintball comfortable. Complimentary water is available to everyone at no charge, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. The staff is happy to point you toward local pizza and restaurant recommendations for after the games, and they suggest bringing a change of clothes so you don’t have to ride home in a paint-spattered outfit. Because there’s no time limit on most bookings, groups can pace themselves, take breaks, and settle in for a full day rather than rushing through a fixed block of play. It’s the kind of place where the owners genuinely seem to want you to stay a while, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere is a big part of why so many players keep coming back.
