Ballahack Airsoft

A 99-Acre Airsoft Park in Chesapeake

Ballahack Airsoft is located in the Hickory area of Chesapeake, Virginia, in the southeastern Hampton Roads region. The park describes itself as the largest airsoft field on the East Coast, and it has hosted events with more than 1,200 players on a single day. It markets an inclusive community and a friendly staff, and the Nextdoor page names it a Neighborhood Favorite for 2023.

Woods, Swamps, and an Urban MOUT Village on One Field

The field covers 99 acres of mixed terrain: wooded areas, micro-terrain, swamps, and an urban MOUT area. Players can move through forest, set up in the open, or push through a small village in the same game day. Ample parking and staging space let players stage from designated pods or straight from their vehicles. An indoor pro shop handles registration and sells equipment, so players can keep going all day.

Weekend Missions and Special Scenario Events&lt

Weekend gameplay follows a structured day: processing in the morning, a briefing, a warm-up mission, a second mission, a lunch break, and an afternoon mission followed by a cool-down. Each mission runs about an hour, and games run rain or shine. The park also hosts large scenario events, including Zombies 9 and the REV series, such as The Fall of Babylon. These events are priced separately and often draw players from across the East Coast.

Rentals, a Pro Shop, and a Welcome for Beginners

Rental equipment is available for players without gear, so a first-time visitor can arrive and play. Players must be at least 10 years old, and an air pass keeps an HPA tank filled all day. BBs are sold separately. The pro shop stocks BBs, batteries, gas and CO2, electric and gas guns, face and eye protection, and gear. Reviewers describe the staff as knowledgeable and helpful, and the park offers training for new players.

Party Packages and Private Days for Large Groups

The park offers airsoft party packages for groups, with and without rentals. A package with rentals covers admissions, rental gear, and bags of BBs for an all-day party. For larger groups, a private day gives a group the field for a five-hour block with admissions and rentals for 30 players. These options suit birthdays, team-building days, and clubs that want a private game. Additional players can be added for a per-player price.
