Big Indian Paintball & Airsoft is located in Perry, Georgia, just off Valley Drive, set on an expansive 82-acre property that blends open fields, dense woodland, and a full-scale abandoned town.
The heart of Big Indian is its 12-acre urban town field — a sprawling, civilian-style environment complete with buildings, alleyways, and even a weathered station wagon permanently parked in the middle, layered in paint from countless battles. Beyond the town, the property unfolds into wooded trails, grassy meadows, and a two-story castle that anchors one end of the property. Five large bases and several smaller outposts are scattered across the complex, giving players plenty of room to maneuver, flank, and set up ambushes. For those who prefer a faster pace, two regulation-size PSP X-Ball fields (200 by 150 feet each) are outfitted with brand-new inflatable bunkers. These fields are lit for night play, and each pit comes with its own fill station, running water, and power — a thoughtful touch that keeps the action moving without interruption.
The club offers a broad range of activities that go well beyond standard paintball. Airsoft enthusiasts have their own dedicated package with rental markers, masks, and pellets, and the field hosts MILSIM-style events with special rulesets for those who crave deeper tactical immersion. Gelly ball is available for a lower-impact, colorful alternative, and the Junior League (50-caliber paintball) gives younger players a chance to join the fun with lighter gear. NERF parties are also an option — groups can rent the field and bring their own blasters for a flat fee, with a referee included to keep things organized. Walk-on players are welcome any weekend without a reservation, and the staff regularly mixes groups into larger games so solo visitors can jump right into the action.
Big Indian runs a rotating schedule of themed scenario games throughout the year, including night games under the lights on the X-ball fields. Past events have included Operation Black Sting and Espionage — immersive, objective-driven battles that turn the entire 82-acre property into a living game board. The club has also hosted 3-man tournament series in previous seasons, and the speedball pits are kept ready for both casual pick-up games and organized competition. The staff designs specific rules and mission objectives for each field, so groups never have to argue over how to play — the refs handle the setup and keep the games moving with a mix of humor and professionalism.
The facility is built with comfort and community in mind. A covered observation deck overlooks the airball fields and the town, making it easy for spectators to watch the action in the shade. A pavilion with picnic tables and grills is available for cooking out, and there are bleachers set up near the speedball fields for tournament viewing. Five clean restrooms with hot water are spread across the property, and the office sells drinks, snacks, stickers, and T-shirts. Camping is permitted during big events, with plenty of parking and room for RVs or tents. The whole setup encourages groups to settle in for the day — whether it is a birthday party, a corporate team-building outing, a family reunion, or just a Saturday with friends.
The on-site BIP Pro Shop stocks a solid selection of markers, masks, tanks, and accessories — from Tippmann and Eclipse markers to HK Army pods and smoke grenades. Players can buy or rent everything they need on the spot, and the rental packages include quality gear that is well maintained. The staff, led by owner Dwayne, has earned consistent praise from visitors for being welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. Refs are assigned to each group and stay engaged throughout the session, offering tips to beginners, keeping safety tight, and making sure everyone has a good time. The atmosphere is laid-back and inclusive — first-timers and seasoned veterans share the same fields without any pressure.
