About

Bing Field Airsoft & Paintball Park sits on more than 60 acres of outdoor playing fields in Alton, Illinois, roughly a half-hour drive north of downtown St. Louis. It bills itself as the largest airsoft and paintball facility in the St. Louis area, and it has grown into a well-known destination for players across the region.

A City Built for Battle

The heart of the park is “City of Bedlam,” the largest urban-environment field in the St. Louis area. Spanning more than five acres, it features over 40 buildings, with no two sharing the same layout. Players can storm narrow alleyways, breach structures, or hold a vantage point, all while navigating a dense, realistic urban setting that rewards both strategy and teamwork. Beyond the urban center, the property offers a mix of open and wooded areas, bases to overtake and defend, and a variety of natural cover. The diverse terrain means every game feels different, whether you are pushing through the city blocks or moving through the tree line.

More Than a Game: Scenarios and Night Play

Bing Field regularly hosts themed missions and large-scale paintball and airsoft operations built around detailed storylines and clear objectives. These aren’t just casual shootouts; they are structured events where teams work toward goals, which makes the experience feel closer to a real tactical operation than a simple pickup game. The park also runs popular Airsoft Night Games, where the city field is lit up for after-dark play. Players bring tracer units and tracer BBs, and the park now issues LED armbands to identify teams and signal when someone is out. Occasional airsoft swap meets give the community a chance to buy, sell, and trade gear during regular open play.

Gear, Comfort, and a Place to Gather

With over 200 sets of rental equipment on hand, Bing Field makes it easy for newcomers to jump in without owning any gear. Rental packages cover guns, masks, and ammunition, and the park offers three ways to play: airsoft, paintball, and low-impact paintball, the latter being a softer option for younger players or anyone who prefers a gentler hit. Off the field, there is a 10,000-square-foot covered pavilion staging area with 30 picnic tables and a full-service concession stand. The park also runs the BingShop in nearby Edwardsville, which carries what it describes as the largest selection of airsoft guns and tactical gear in the Midwest, making it a convenient stop for players looking to upgrade their loadout.

Made for Groups and Celebrations

Bing Field is a natural fit for birthdays, bachelor parties, corporate outings, and team-building events. The park is open for walk-on play every Saturday and Sunday, and groups of ten or more can reserve the entire facility seven days a week for custom scenarios and challenges. For companies, it offers an adventurous alternative to routine meetings and typical office parties. Because the whole field is available to a reserved group, organizers can shape the day around their own goals, whether that means friendly competition, structured team challenges, or simply a memorable outing with friends and family.

Friendly Faces Behind the Fields

Reviews consistently mention the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly, helpful staff and owners. Players describe the park as a great place for all ages, with service that makes first-timers feel comfortable and regulars feel at home. The staff’s willingness to help newcomers learn the sport is a big part of why so many visitors return. The sense of community is strong, with players recruiting friends to join each outing and families coming back for repeat visits. For anyone looking for an adrenaline-filled workout that also builds teamwork, Bing Field offers a welcoming place to sweat, laugh, and play.
