Five Worlds, One Battlefield
Blitz Paintball offers five distinct recreational play zones spread across its property, each with its own personality and tactical feel. The centerpiece is a two-story castle — a 70-by-100-foot structure with an inner courtyard, a throne room, and a surrounding 150-by-200-foot play zone. It is fully playable on both levels and sits between the Urban Combat and Military Base fields, allowing games to spill across multiple zones. The Urban Combat field is built around six large complex structures, including a "Diamond" made from four 50-foot semi-trailers, 18 shed structures, and over 200 bunkers. The Military Base features a 40-foot helicopter, a command post, supply and communication centers, rocket launcher trucks, troop transport vehicles, artillery guns, machine gun nests, and even nuclear missile silos. For those who prefer speed and symmetry, there is a 30,000-square-foot Hyperball field with 68 bunkers, and a smaller Hyper-Spool field designed for 5-to-10-player games. Every field is built with an eye for visual detail and functional cover, making each match feel like stepping into a different world.
Paintball, Airsoft, and Open Play
Paintball is the main draw, but Blitz has expanded to include airsoft as a full second offering. The airsoft fields are separate from the paintball zones and are maintained with AstroTurf to keep the playing surface clean and consistent. Players can bring their own equipment or rent everything on-site, including electric rifles, face protection, and unlimited batteries. Only biodegradable BBs are allowed on the airsoft fields, which helps preserve the turf and the environment. Walk-on play is available on weekends for both paintball and airsoft, with no reservation required for individuals or small groups. The facility runs continuous games throughout the day, rotating through different fields and game types — capture the flag, attack and defend, elimination, and objective-based scenarios. Players can jump in and out as they please, and the staff organizes teams on the fly to keep the balance fair. For those who prefer a more controlled experience, private games can be arranged for groups of any size.
Built for Groups of Every Kind
Blitz Paintball has become a go-to destination for celebrations of all kinds. Birthday parties are a staple, with special perks for the birthday person — a free bag of paint or a T-shirt for groups of five or more, and both a bag of paint and a shirt for groups of ten or more. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are also common, with the facility offering a high-energy alternative to the usual bar crawl or dinner out. Corporate team-building events are another area where Blitz shines. The staff has experience handling groups from 20 to over 400 people, and they work with organizers to create a schedule that fits the group's goals — whether that means competitive tournament-style play or cooperative scenario games designed to build communication and trust. The facility also hosts tournament play through the local paintball community, with dedicated fields set aside for competitive matches while recreational fields remain open for casual players.
The People Behind the Mask
The staff at Blitz Paintball has earned a reputation for being friendly, knowledgeable, and patient — especially with first-time players. Multiple reviews highlight the professionalism of the referees, who stay on the field during games to enforce safety rules and keep the action organized. One reviewer described watching the head referee calmly de-escalate a confrontation with a difficult customer, then apologize to the remaining players for the delay — a gesture that was appreciated but entirely unnecessary. The team is also known for being helpful with beginners. New players receive a thorough orientation before stepping onto the field, and staff members are available throughout the day to answer questions, adjust equipment, and offer tips. The rental gear is well-maintained, and the pro shop staff can handle repairs, tank refills, and equipment recommendations. While one negative review from 2018 mentioned a rude phone interaction, the overwhelming majority of feedback — across TripAdvisor, Facebook, and other platforms — describes a welcoming and professional crew that genuinely enjoys what they do.
A Place to Gather Between Games
Between matches, players can relax under a covered picnic area with plenty of tables and seating. The facility has a concession stand that offers quick food and drinks during the warmer months, though visitors are also welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Many regulars recommend packing a cooler with drinks and snacks, especially during the winter months when the concession stand may be closed. There is also a small pro shop on-site where players can purchase paintballs, CO2 and compressed air refills, and basic gear. The atmosphere throughout the property is casual and community-oriented — regulars mix with first-timers, tournament players share tips with recreational groups, and the staff moves through the crowd making sure everyone has what they need. Blitz Paintball is open year-round on weekends, weather permitting, and operates by reservation during the week for groups of five or more. It is a place built for people who love the game and for people who are just discovering it.
