About

Brothers Paintball Field is located in the Kunia area near Waipahu on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

A Woodsball Field That Feels Like the Real Thing

The playing field at Brothers Paintball is a classic woodsball setup, designed to immerse players in a natural outdoor environment. Instead of a flat, manicured lawn, the terrain features uneven ground, patches of brush, and the kind of cover that makes you think twice before sprinting across open space. Scattered across the field are man-made obstacles — wooden bunkers, large spools, oil drums, and other barricades — that give players plenty of options for flanking maneuvers and surprise attacks. The entire field is enclosed by netting, which means spectators can watch the action safely from the sidelines without missing a single elimination.

Games That Keep You on Your Toes

Brothers Paintball runs a variety of game formats during open play on weekends. The standard rotation includes team deathmatch rounds where two squads face off until one side is completely eliminated, and capture-the-flag missions that require coordinated pushes into enemy territory. Referees on the field keep the action moving, calling out hits and rotating game types so no two rounds feel exactly the same. For private groups and special events, the staff can tailor scenarios to match the group’s size and experience level — whether that means slower-paced introductory games for first-timers or faster, more aggressive rounds for seasoned players.

Gear for Every Kind of Player

For those who do not own their own equipment, Brothers Paintball offers two rental tiers. The standard rental package includes a basic marker, hopper, compressed air tank, mask, and a pod pack, along with 100 paintballs to get started. The upgraded option features a Planet Eclipse Emek marker — a reliable, player-grade gun that offers smoother performance and better accuracy. Players who bring their own gear pay a reduced field fee that covers all-day play and unlimited compressed air fills. The on-site pro shop, located at a separate address in Honolulu, carries markers, barrels, hoppers, tanks, masks, jerseys, and protective gear for those looking to upgrade or replace equipment.

A Place for Birthdays, Corporate Days, and Everything in Between

Brothers Paintball is a natural fit for group events of all kinds. Birthday parties are a common sight here, with groups of friends and family taking over the field for a few hours of friendly competition. Corporate groups use the field for team-building exercises, where the emphasis on communication and strategy translates well into workplace dynamics. The facility also accommodates bachelor parties, school outings, and any other gathering that calls for active, outdoor fun. Picnic tables are set up near the field, giving players a place to rest, rehydrate, and regroup between rounds.

The People Behind the Paint

Brothers Paintball started in 2004 as a small shop and has since grown into the only dedicated paintball store remaining in Hawaii, as well as one of the few active paintball fields on the island. The staff are players themselves — they know the sport, they know the equipment, and they know how to keep a game running smoothly. Safety is taken seriously here: referees monitor velocity limits, enforce mask rules, and make sure everyone is playing fair. New players are given a thorough safety briefing before stepping onto the field, and the refs are always available to answer questions or offer tips on improving your game.

More Than Just a Game

Beyond the paintball action, Brothers Paintball provides a straightforward, no-frills experience that focuses on what matters: getting out into the field and playing. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with regulars mixing easily with first-time visitors. The field operates on a “field paint only” policy, meaning all paintballs used must be purchased on-site, which helps maintain consistent quality and safety standards. For anyone on Oahu looking to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon dodging paint and plotting strategies with friends, this field offers a solid, honest paintball experience.
