Central Florida Paintball is located just north of Lakeland, Florida, off US Highway 98 N — about a 40-minute drive east of downtown Tampa, making it a convenient outdoor destination for the greater Tampa Bay area.

A Playground Built for Every Style of Play

Spread across 22 acres, Central Florida Paintball offers a rare variety of playing environments that cater to both newcomers and seasoned tournament players. The field features six woodsball courses complete with a two-story fort, wooden huts, and stone structures tucked among the trees — giving recreational players plenty of cover for tactical, slow-paced games. On the other side of the property, six flat-grass airball fields are set up with inflatable barriers for faster, more competitive X-ball and speedball-style play. The staff rotates the airball layouts every two weeks, keeping the terrain fresh for regulars and tournament teams alike.

Real Woodsball and Tournament-Level Airball

What sets this park apart is its commitment to authentic woodsball — one of the few places in Florida where you can still play in a genuine wooded environment with natural cover and man-made forts. At the same time, the airball fields are maintained to NXL regional tournament standards, and the park has hosted the Central Florida Paintball Series (CFPS) for years. Whether you are sneaking through the trees or sprinting across an open airball field, the variety ensures no two games feel the same. Night play is also available on lighted fields, and the park offers overnight camping with fire pits for groups looking to extend the experience.

A Place for Beginners, Families, and Walk-Ons

Central Florida Paintball welcomes walk-on players every weekend — no group reservation needed. The staff is known for balancing teams carefully, separating first-timers and younger players from experienced regulars so everyone has a good time. Kids as young as 11 can play on their own, and younger children can join when accompanied by an older relative or friend. The atmosphere is laid-back and community-oriented, with regulars who enjoy helping new players learn the game.

Parties, Corporate Events, and Group Outings

The park is a natural fit for birthday parties, corporate team-building events, and private group outings. Groups of 10 or more can book the woodsball fields during the week by appointment, and the park provides covered staging areas with tents, tables, chairs, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks, and there is a drink machine on-site. The pro shop carries gear, paintballs, and offers repair and tech services for those who bring their own equipment.

Comfortable Staging and Thoughtful Amenities

Beyond the fields, Central Florida Paintball provides a comfortable home base for players. The covered staging area includes picnic tables and chairs, a refrigerator and microwave, and plenty of shade. There are restrooms and a dressing room available, along with ample parking. The pro shop is open Thursday through Friday for retail sales and tech services, and the field is open for play every Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Private groups can arrange weekday play with advance notice.
