About

CJ’s Paintball & Airsoft Park sits on more than 20 acres in the small community of Martell, Nebraska, roughly fifteen minutes outside of Lincoln. It has been a fixture of the local outdoor recreation scene since it opened, drawing players from across southeast Nebraska.

A Sprawling Outdoor Playground

The park spreads its action across multiple outdoor fields, each with its own character and layout. Players weave through natural cover, bunkers, and built-up structures while moving between objectives. The grounds are spacious enough that large groups never feel crowded, and the open-air setting keeps every round feeling fresh and energetic. Because the park operates year-round, the fields stay busy in every season. Whether it is a crisp fall afternoon or a bright summer day, the same well-kept terrain is ready for play. For younger or first-time visitors, a low-impact 50-caliber option offers a gentler way to join in without sacrificing any of the fun.

Games That Keep You Coming Back

The core paintball experience revolves around classic scenarios that players of all skill levels can jump into right away. Capture the flag and storm-the-town games get groups moving, communicating, and working together from the very first whistle. There is also a popular zombie shoot theme that has become a favorite among regulars, adding a playful twist to the standard match. Beyond paintball, the park hosts airsoft open play on the first and third Sunday of each month, giving enthusiasts a dedicated day for their own style of play. Gelly ball rounds out the lineup, offering a softer, family-friendly option that even kids as young as five can enjoy. With this mix, there is genuinely something for every age and every taste.

Built for Every Kind of Gathering

CJ’s has positioned itself as a go-to destination for celebrations and group outings of all sorts. Birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette gatherings, church group trips, school outings, and corporate team-building events all find a natural home here. Private event bookings come with dedicated field time and picnic tables, so groups can settle in and make a full day of it. The park is especially accommodating when it comes to outside food and drinks, letting guests bring their own refreshments for the party. That flexibility, combined with the range of package options, makes it easy to tailor a visit to the size and mood of any group, from a handful of friends to a full company crew.

The People Behind the Park

Regulars and first-timers alike consistently point to the staff as the heart of the experience. Reviews describe a team that is friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has a good time. New players are walked through the equipment step by step, and referees take care to keep first-timers, especially younger players, engaged and excited. There is a family-like warmth to the place that shows in how groups are handled. Large parties are moved onto the field quickly and efficiently, while newcomers never feel out of place. It is the kind of hospitality that turns a one-time visit into a regular tradition.

Comfort and Convenience Between Rounds

Between matches, guests can take advantage of picnic table seating, making it easy to rest, refuel, and swap stories about the last round. The park also sells paintballs and offers air fills for those bringing their own equipment, so nobody has to worry about running dry mid-day. For frequent visitors, membership options add real value, bundling free entry, free air, and discounts on cases of paint. Whether someone is a seasoned player or just looking for a memorable outing, the park is set up to make the whole day smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable from start to finish.
