About

Where the Battle Begins

Combat Zone Lagrange is located on Old Hutchinson Mill Road, just a short drive from the heart of LaGrange, Georgia. Tucked away on a spacious outdoor lot, the venue offers a welcome escape from the everyday, immersing visitors in a world of tactical play from the moment they arrive.

Games That Put You in the Action

The heart of Combat Zone is its Tactical Outdoor Laser Tag, a mission-based experience modeled after popular first-person shooter video games. Players step onto a football-sized field and engage in objective-driven scenarios with real-time scoring, multiple weapon types, loot boxes with upgrades, and even kill streaks. It is an adrenaline-pumping experience that rewards strategy and teamwork over simple target practice. Beyond laser tag, the venue offers Splat Ball, a low-impact alternative to paintball that uses soft gel balls. It feels like a rubber band snap on skin and is played on a specially designed close-combat arena. For those seeking an even deeper level of immersion, Night Ops sessions take place after dark, demanding stronger communication and stealth. The venue also hosts Squad Skirmishes during open field times, where smaller groups can pay per player and join others for a set of unique missions.

A Field Built for Strategy and Cover

The main playing field is roughly the size of a football field, providing ample room for maneuvering, flanking, and executing tactical plans. The outdoor arena is dotted with various obstacles, barriers, and natural cover, creating a dynamic environment that changes with each mission. The field is partially tree-covered, offering shade and additional concealment. For Splat Ball, a separate, specially designed close-quarters arena is used, offering a different kind of combat challenge.

More Than Just a Game: Events and Gatherings

Combat Zone Lagrange is a natural fit for a wide range of events. Birthday parties are a specialty, with packages that include game time and access to a dedicated party tent. The venue is also a strong choice for corporate team-building events, where the objective-driven games naturally foster communication, leadership, and camaraderie without feeling like a typical corporate exercise. Youth groups, summer camps, and fundraising events are also welcome, with the staff working closely with organizers to tailor the experience.

The People and the Place

The staff at Combat Zone are frequently praised by visitors for being friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about creating a great experience. The venue is owned and operated by a local team that believes in community service and actively supports military veterans through organizations like Operation Enduring Warrior. After the game, guests can relax in the party tent — an authentic US military-issue tent — where they are welcome to bring their own food and drinks to celebrate, share stories, and enjoy fellowship. A concession stand is also available on-site for snacks and drinks.
