For the gentlest option, gel blasters use water-based, biodegradable gel beads that burst on impact and leave no mess or stains. Three gel blaster formats — the Surge (ages 5+), Surge XL (ages 7+), and pump-action Barracuda (ages 7+) — let families scale the intensity from birthday-party gentle to genuinely competitive. All essential gear, including markers, masks, and air tanks, can be hired on site.
