D14 Airsoft sits on 37 acres of wooded Denton County land just off I-35 in Sanger, Texas, a short drive north of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The property was purchased in late 2013 after the original partners lost their first two locations, and it has grown steadily ever since into one of the most popular airsoft destinations in the state. The club’s motto, “Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.,” reflects its history of resilience. Players from all over Texas make the trip every weekend, and the field regularly draws more than 200 players when the weather cooperates. It even hosted the first airsoft event in Texas to break the 500-player mark.

A 37-Acre Arena With Something Around Every Corner

The playing field is a sprawling outdoor environment built for immersion. At its heart is a main city packed with dozens of buildings and shipping containers, while the surrounding woods hide abandoned cabins and the trenches wrap around a prison complex. Across the west field, the Citadel looms over open ground, giving every game a distinct flavor. The field has expanded to more than 80 structures, with the largest building reaching 6,000 square feet. Reviewers consistently note the variety of cover options — bushes, barrels, pallets, vehicles, and even an airplane — and praise how well-maintained and hazard-free the site is kept. It is a place where both MILSIM veterans and weekend warriors find plenty of room to maneuver.

From Weekend Skirmishes to Multi-Day Survival Simulations

Regular open play runs every Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine, with warm-up games in the morning and a full day of scenarios. Beyond standard skirmishes, the calendar is packed with special events, including night games played with night-vision gear and themed operations that draw crowds from across the region. The most ambitious offering is a persistent three-day post-apocalyptic survival roleplay event where players arrive with almost nothing and must scavenge for ammunition, trade scraps for supplies, and earn their gear through the course of the weekend. It is a far cry from a simple pickup game and shows the depth of what the field can host.

Rentals, Retail, and Everything You Need for Game Day

For those without their own gear, D14 offers basic and deluxe rental packages that include electric airsoft rifles, loaded magazines, full-face masks, and tactical vests. A GI Tactical retail store sits right next to the registration building, so players can pick up guns, gear, ammo, and safety equipment on site without an extra trip. The field requires biodegradable BBs, which are available for purchase. A small concession stand keeps players fueled with drinks and snacks throughout the day, and D14-branded patches and decals let visitors take a piece of the field home. The staff are known for being friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in the sport — the field is run by players, for players.
