Three Unique Battlefields That Tell a Story
The heart of Family Paintball Center lies in its three distinct playing fields, each offering a completely different atmosphere and tactical challenge. Speedball is a fast-paced, tournament-style field featuring inflatable bunkers and artificial turf. The layout of the bunkers is changed regularly to mirror major competition designs, giving rental players and beginners the chance to feel like seasoned pros as they sprint, slide, and communicate under pressure. For those who prefer a more narrative-driven experience, Battletown delivers an urban combat setting with a diner and a gas station as key points of interest. This field is currently undergoing upgrades and is expected to feature four fully realized points of interest. The Wild West field, meanwhile, transports players to a reimagined frontier town complete with a saloon, sheriff's office, and blacksmith shop, offering close-quarters combat through narrow streets and tight spaces that feel straight out of a classic western film.
Games for Every Age and Comfort Level
The club offers three distinct activity types to accommodate players of all ages and experience levels. Traditional paintball uses full-sized equipment and is designed for thrill-seekers aged 12 and up, delivering the classic adrenaline rush that paintball is known for. Low-impact paintball uses smaller equipment and lighter paintballs, making it a great fit for children aged 7 and older as well as mixed-age groups where comfort is a priority. Gelly Ball is the softest option available, using blasters that shoot small water beads called gellets. There is no mess, no pain, and no staining, making it an excellent choice for young players aged 5 and up. The center also runs popular scenario-based games that can be tailored to the group, including capture-the-flag variations and team elimination matches that encourage communication and strategic thinking.
Built for Celebrations and Team Building
Family Paintball Center has established itself as a go-to destination for birthdays, corporate outings, family reunions, and school events. Over 1,000 birthdays were celebrated at the facility in 2025 alone, and the staff regularly hosts events for well-known organizations including the Chicago Bulls, FIU, the Miami Dade Fire Department, Baptist Health, and many others. All reservations include a reserved seating area, and groups are welcome to decorate as they wish. Corporate clients appreciate the team-building aspect of paintball, where employees must communicate, delegate, and trust one another under pressure. The club offers special corporate rates and assigns a dedicated crew member to ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish. For parents hosting a child's birthday, the Private Host add-on provides a dedicated chaperone who manages the games, explains the rules, and handles all equipment refills, allowing adults to relax and enjoy the occasion.
Extra Touches That Make a Difference
Beyond the paintball action, the facility offers several amenities that enhance the overall experience. On-site food trucks serve Mexican cuisine and other options, while Frostbites Shaved Ice provides cool treats for hot Miami afternoons. The club also has a concessions area for snacks and drinks, making it easy to keep energy levels high between matches. The Private Host service is one of the most popular add-ons, with over 300 bookings in 2024 and more than 5,000 players personally assisted. This service is especially valued by parents with groups of young children, as the host acts like a lifeguard for paintball, ensuring safety protocols are followed and tailoring the games to the group's age and skill level. Additional add-ons include gloves, smoke grenades, and upgraded protection items for those who want to enhance their loadout.
A Crew That Knows the Game
The staff at Family Paintball Center is described by regular visitors as knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the sport. Crew members handle everything from equipment fitting and safety briefings to refereeing matches and managing large group events. The facility uses industry-standard equipment including Planet Eclipse EMEK markers, JT paintball masks, Tippmann chest protectors, and Empire custom blend paintballs, ensuring that every player has a reliable and enjoyable experience on the field. The team has facilitated over 20,000 player sign-ups in the past year and manages more than 2,000 bookings annually, demonstrating a level of experience that translates into smooth operations even during busy weekend sessions. Whether a guest is a first-time player or a seasoned veteran, the crew takes the time to explain the rules, demonstrate proper technique, and create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome to join the game.
