About

Galaxy Fun Park is located in the Falls of Neuse area of north Raleigh, North Carolina, along Falls of Neuse Road. It is a large, fully indoor family entertainment center that has been serving the Triangle region for years and remains open and active today.

Galactic Laser Battle: A Two-Story Arena

The signature laser tag experience here is called Galactic Laser Battle, and it is built to feel like stepping into another world. Guests enter through a larger-than-life robot entrance and find themselves inside a black-lit arena filled with Gen7 laser equipment, two-story spaceships, and a home base where teams can refuel between rounds. The whole setting is designed around a space theme, with glowing accents and immersive scenery that make every match feel like a mission. Before each battle, teams gather in a briefing room to plan their strategy, then head up a ramp into the arena where the action unfolds. The multi-level layout with hiding spots and elevated vantage points rewards both careful planning and quick reflexes. Laser tag is open to players who are at least 40 inches tall and five years old, making it a great fit for families and groups of mixed ages.

Beyond Laser Tag: A Universe of Attractions

Laser tag is just one piece of a much bigger picture. The park spans roughly 60,000 to 65,000 square feet of indoor space and packs in a full-sized trampoline park with dodgeball courts, slam-dunk basketball lanes, and foam pits, plus an indoor go-kart track, a spinning bumper car zone, an indoor ropes course, black-light mini-golf, a soft play area for younger kids, and a drop tower ride. There is also a sizable arcade with video games for those who prefer a more relaxed pace. The trampoline park offers wall-to-wall courts and a gravity-zone obstacle course, while the go-karts and ropes course add a layer of adrenaline for older kids and adults. Because everything is indoors, the fun continues regardless of the weather, which makes it a dependable destination for rainy days and hot North Carolina summers alike.

Birthdays and Group Celebrations That Take Off

Galaxy Fun Park is a popular spot for birthday parties, and the team handles much of the setup, hosting, and cleanup so parents can actually relax. Party packages include a private party room, a dedicated party captain, pizza and drinks, jump socks, and a special gift for the birthday child. Options range from a junior cadet party for younger kids to a teen bash for older guests, and there are themed packages that combine trampoline time with laser tag, go-karts, or black-light mini-golf. Beyond birthdays, the park welcomes all kinds of group events, including school field trips, youth group outings, fundraisers, corporate team-building days, reunions, and bar mitzvahs. Groups of fifteen or more qualify for special group pricing, and the venue can host lock-ins and larger corporate events. The flexible setup makes it a practical choice for everything from a child’s celebration to a company offsite.

Fuel Up at the Cosmic Cafe

After all that running, jumping, and racing, there is a cafe on site where visitors can refuel. The menu includes fresh pizza, burgers, wings, funnel cake fries, Dippin’ Dots, and ice-cold fountain drinks, with adult beverages also available. There is plenty of seating for parents and guardians who want to watch the action while enjoying a snack or a drink. The cafe is a convenient part of the experience, especially for parties and group events where food is included in the package. It means families can spend an entire day at the park without having to leave for meals, which adds to the overall convenience of the venue.

A Friendly Crew and a Welcoming Vibe

Reviews consistently mention the friendly and helpful staff, who are often praised for keeping things running smoothly and making guests feel welcome. Party captains and event specialists are on hand to guide groups through the day, and the park maintains a focus on cleanliness and safety, with waivers and closed-toe shoe requirements in place for the active attractions. The atmosphere is laid-back and family-oriented, with activities that appeal to everyone from toddlers in the soft play area to grandparents watching from the cafe. Whether it is a weekend family outing, a school celebration, or a corporate team-building session, the park aims to make every visit feel like a small adventure.
