About
An Indoor Airsoft Arena in Northwest Houston
High Ground Airsoft is located in Cypress, Texas, in the northwest Houston area. It is a climate-controlled indoor airsoft facility that moved to Cypress from nearby Spring in 2022. The venue combines a play arena with an Evike Outpost store, so players can rent gear, play, and shop for equipment in the same place.
A 27,000-Square-Foot Arena Built Around Main Street
The arena covers about 27,000 square feet of continuous close-quarters space. Its center is a themed Main Street, with interconnected rooms and hallways extending roughly 90 feet in each direction. A large mural and movie-inspired storefronts help create a realistic urban setting. The layout supports many different game scenarios, from tight room-to-room pushes to long hallway fights. Regular players say the field stays fresh, and one reviewer noted a gaming-themed area. The venue has only one arena, so reviewers describe it as moderate in size but very fun for fast-paced speedsoft.
Seven-Minute Missions, Special Effects, and Up to 50 Players
Games are built from short micro-missions that last about seven to eight minutes each. Battlefield special effects and interactive props change the feel from round to round, and the game types change over the course of a session. The arena can host battles with up to 50 players. The venue has also hosted organized events, including a KWA Tactical League day with objective modes such as Search & Destroy, Extraction, Embassy, and Domination. Regular sessions run for three hours, and doors open 30 minutes early for check-in.
Referees, Rental Gear, and a Pro Shop
Referees explain the games and watch the field, and visitors describe them as careful and helpful with both new players and veterans. Rental packages include an AEG battery-powered rifle, a magazine, a safety mask, and a safety vest, so first-time players can start without owning equipment. The Evike Outpost store sells airsoft guns, BBs, and tactical gear, and reviewers praise the knowledgeable staff. Customers mention competitive prices and helpful answers to equipment questions.
Birthdays, Bachelor Parties, and Corporate Team Building
High Ground hosts birthday parties, bachelor parties, corporate team-building events, gel ball parties, and other special occasions. A private party room comes with group packages, and the largest option gives a group exclusive use of the whole facility, including the arena and the players’ lounge. Regular nights add some variety. Wednesday is Brews & Pews for players 21 and older, and Thursday is Throwback Thursday, when feathering is allowed to bring back the old field atmosphere.
A Snack Bar and Lounge Between Games
Players can rest in the lounge and visit the snack bar, which sells pizza, water, soda, and slushies. Visitors say the snack bar area is being expanded. After a session, the lounge gives groups a place to talk through the mission and plan the next game.
