Infinite Loop VR sits in La Vista, a suburb in the Omaha metro area of Nebraska, at 9825 Giles Road. It’s Nebraska’s largest virtual reality arcade, a place that grew from a mobile party setup in 2017 into a full-scale arcade that soft-opened in late 2017, fully opened in January 2018, and doubled in size in the fall of 2019.

A Free-Roam Arena That Feels Like Another World

The heart of the space is the Infinite Loop Arena, a 600-square-foot free-roam area (roughly 20 by 30 feet) where two to five players suit up with headsets, backpacks, and gun controllers and physically walk through the game. You move through hallways, duck under obstacles, and work together to hold off hordes of zombies, flying robots, or orcs, or face off against each other in one of several game options. Each experience runs about ten minutes, and a 30-minute session covers three of them. Beyond the arena, there are nine VR stations, each with a 55-inch 4K TV and a couch, plus four racing simulators with 5K headsets, wind effects, and bass shakers under the seat. The facility actually includes two free-roam arenas in total, along with escape experiences and over 60 games to choose from, making it easy to keep a whole group busy.

Racing, Tower Tag, and Escape Rooms

The tactical side of the club is built around team-based and competitive play. Tower Tag is a futuristic laser-tag-style VR game where players move around towers in virtual space with a headset and gun controller, battling bots or each other in teams. Racing simulators let you pick your difficulty, car, and track and race a friend in multiplayer, with fans that speed up as you do in the game and bass shakers that react to the virtual environment. For groups that prefer puzzles, there are five multiplayer escape experiences, including beginner-friendly options like Escape the Lost Pyramid and Notre Dame on Fire, an intermediate Medusa’s Gate, and the expert Dagger of Time. Teams have 60 minutes to solve the puzzles and complete the mission together, with actual time varying by how well the group performs.

Parties Built Around the Birthday Kid

Birthday parties are a specialty here, and the club has hosted hundreds since opening. Packages include the VR Station Party Package for ages 8 and up, with one hour of gaming on a set number of stations plus 45 minutes in the party room, plates, cups, utensils, and cleanup. The Tower Tag & Racing Package for ages 10 and up pairs an hour of tower tag with an hour of racing for up to 12 guests, and staff can run it tournament style with kids switching between racing and tower tag. The staff handles the details, from setup and VR intro to cleanup, and families can bring in food, cake, and drinks for the party room. Age ratings on all games mean parents can request that stations be set to a certain age, so only age-appropriate games appear for the kids.

Corporate Events, Graduations, and Team Building

The club is well suited to corporate events, graduation parties, and team-building outings. The Private Party Package opens up the full facility, including the nine standard stations, four racing simulators, tower tag, and the arena, with a party room for gathering between rounds. Corporate groups can bring in outside food or order from a catering menu, and the staff can tailor the experience to the group’s interests and preferences. For teams, the cooperative arena games and competitive racing naturally encourage communication and friendly competition. The club also works well for date nights and double dates, with multiplayer games that are easy to pick up, and it has been named a top date-night spot by a local blog.
