LazerX Arena is located just south of downtown Kirkland, Washington, on Seattle’s Eastside. The club was founded in 2018 and calls itself the next generation of laser tag. It focuses on team building, family fun, and group parties, and it presents laser tag as an ultra-realistic first-person shooter experience.

A Hollywood Movie-Style Set With SWAT-Grade Equipment

The arena is built like a Hollywood movie set, and players use the same type of equipment and software that SWAT teams and special operations units use around the world. Live stat tracking and team leaderboards show how each player did, and a session includes six mission types. Reviewers say the play area is mixed up from time to time, which makes the arena a good place to return to. The guns weigh about 9 pounds in total, which is manageable for children in fourth grade and up, and one reviewer called it the best laser tag in the area.

Laser Tag, Nerf Wars, and Archery Tag Under One Roof

Besides tactical laser tag for players 8 and older, the venue offers Nerf Wars, which combines Nerf tag and dodgeball, and archery tag with soft-tipped arrows. Nerf Wars and archery tag are open to players 6 and older, and a 40-inch height requirement applies to all of them. Laser tag sessions hold up to 18 players, and Nerf sessions hold up to 16. Groups with younger children or mixed ages often choose Nerf Wars, and groups can combine several experiences in a single event.

Birthday Parties With a Private Party Room

Birthday groups can book a public or private game, then add a private party room upstairs with two long tables, 24 chairs, a serving table, a TV, and a sink station. A cheaper lobby table is available for smaller groups, and families may bring outside food or have staff place an order. One parent wrote that the staff was amazing, the setup was awesome, and the place was clean and well maintained. A booking code gives a 5% discount on party reservations.

Team Building and Large Facility Rentals

Companies use LazerX Arena for team building, and large groups can rent the whole facility. During a facility rental, participants rotate between laser tag, Nerf tag, archery tag, and dodgeball, so everyone gets a turn at each experience. Rentals are offered for one or two hours depending on the group size, with party tables included in the longer rental. The venue also plans to add a virtual reality arena and escape games in the future.
