Main Event Fort Worth North

Main Event is a large family entertainment center with two operating locations in Fort Worth, Texas — one in the northern part of the city off Presidio Vista Drive and another in the south near Citylake Boulevard. Both centers are part of the national Main Event chain and remain open and fully operational, drawing local families, groups, and corporate teams throughout the year.

A Multi-Level Laser Tag Arena Built for Real Competition

The heart of the experience is a multi-level indoor laser tag arena designed for all-out competition. Players dodge, hide, strategize, and fire across several floors connected by ramps and catwalks, with neon lighting and a futuristic, fantasy-inspired look that makes every match feel cinematic. The arena is packed with obstacles and cover points, so there is always somewhere to duck, sneak, or set an ambush. Games typically run 10 to 15 minutes, including instructions and equipment setup, and the arena accommodates groups of all sizes — you can play with just your own crew or jump into a free-for-all with other guests. There is a 42-inch height requirement to play, which keeps the action safe for younger players while still offering plenty of challenge for teens and adults. Team modes and free-for-all battles are both available, so the arena works for casual fun and serious bragging rights alike.

More Than Laser Tag — A Whole Building of Games

Laser tag is only one piece of the picture. The Fort Worth centers pack in a huge range of activities, including bowling lanes, a 100-plus-game arcade, virtual reality experiences, billiards, shuffleboard, and miniature golf. The northern location adds extra draws like gravity ropes, a human crane, escape rooms, mini escape rooms, and VIP bowling, making it easy to spend an entire afternoon without repeating the same activity twice. The arcade is a major draw on its own, with modern video games that award points redeemable for prizes. Between the bowling, VR, and arcade, there is genuinely something for every age and skill level, which is why the venue works just as well for a kids’ birthday as it does for a group of adults looking for a lively night out.

Parties, Corporate Events, and Team Building All in One Place

Main Event positions itself as a one-stop destination for celebrations and group gatherings. Birthday packages are a specialty, with dedicated party hosts who run the show, reserved party space, online invitations, and food included so the birthday guest of honor can simply enjoy the day. Packages range from a single activity to all-access bundles that combine bowling, laser tag, video games, and VR. For businesses, the venue offers corporate events and team building with spacious meeting rooms, AV equipment, and hosted team activities led by facilitators. School groups and social leagues are also welcome, and the flexible packages make it a natural fit for graduations, reunions, and community outings. Whether it is a small family birthday or a large corporate off-site, the staff handles the logistics so the group can focus on having fun.

Food, Drinks, and Places to Unwind Between Games

Each center includes a full-service restaurant with chef-inspired food, from shareable appetizers to hot handhelds, sweets, and treats. The menu covers everything from pizza and sliders to chicken bites and mac and cheese, with unlimited fountain drinks on party packages. The southern location also features a full bar with craft drinks and craft beers, giving adults a comfortable place to relax while the younger crowd keeps playing. There are plenty of spots to sit down and recharge between rounds, and the reserved party spaces double as comfortable gathering areas during and after the games. The combination of a restaurant, lounge-style seating, and a wide activity floor means a visit can easily stretch into a full meal-and-play outing rather than a quick stop.

The People Who Keep the Fun Running

A big part of what makes Main Event work is the staff. Dedicated party hosts are assigned to birthday groups to run the show, keep the schedule on track, and make sure everyone is having a good time. For corporate and school groups, trained facilitators lead team-building activities and handle the technical side of meetings and presentations. The team is experienced at managing large crowds and coordinating multiple activities at once, which matters when you have a group of guests moving between bowling, laser tag, and the arcade. Their focus on service is reflected in consistently strong reviews, with both Fort Worth locations earning solid ratings from visitors who appreciate the combination of friendly staff, clean facilities, and a genuinely fun atmosphere.
