Main Event Humble

An Entertainment Center Where Laser Tag Takes Center Stage

Main Event is located in Humble, Texas, in the Lake Houston area. Main Event is a large indoor center built around the idea of eating, bowling, and playing under one roof. The Humble location opened in 2017 and covers roughly 50,000 square feet. After Hurricane Harvey damaged the building, it was repaired and reopened, and it has served local families and groups ever since.

A Multi-Level Laser Tag Arena for Teams and Solo Players

Laser tag is the main team game at Main Event. It takes place in a multi-level indoor arena where players use infrared blasters to tag opponents and score points. The chain describes the format as a game of skill, smarts, and a little stealth, and it works for a close-knit crew or for strangers meeting on the field for the first time. Players can choose between team modes and free-for-all matches. In a team match, coordination matters more than individual aim. In free-for-all, every player has to watch every direction at once. The arena has a 42-inch height requirement, which lets many children take part alongside adults.

Bowling, Gravity Ropes, and Arcade Games Between Rounds

Between laser tag matches, the Humble location offers 22 bowling lanes with colored lighting, billiards and shuffleboard tables, and a gravity ropes course for those who want a physical challenge. The arcade has more than 100 video and prize games, and virtual reality is also available. This variety is what separates Main Event from a single-purpose arena. A group can split up, with some players on the lanes, some in the arcade, and some on the ropes, then regroup for the next match.

Parties, Team Events, and Meeting Rooms

Birthday parties are a major part of the business, and each party has a dedicated host who runs the schedule. Guests have praised the hosts for helping with setup, decorations, and cleanup, so parents have little to organize themselves. Company outings and holiday parties are also common, and the center offers group events and meeting rooms for teams. The packages can combine laser tag with bowling, gravity ropes, arcade play, and other activities. A group can build a day around competition, or a shorter visit around a single game.

Food, Drinks, and a Place to Regroup

The center has a restaurant with artisan pizza and snacks, plus a full-service bar for adults. Guests can eat between activities without leaving the building, and parties include a reserved space with a host. After the games end, the dining area works as a place to talk through the matches and celebrate the results.
