Main Event Knoxville

Main Event Knoxville sits in the West Knoxville area, just off the south side of I-40 at Cedar Bluff Road, tucked behind the CVS on Kingston Pike. It’s an easy stop for families and groups coming from anywhere in the Knoxville metro, with roughly 50,000 square feet of entertainment packed under one roof.

A Playground Under One Roof

Main Event Knoxville is built around variety, and there’s genuinely something for every age. The centerpiece is a 22-lane bowling alley with professional-level lanes, modern scoring systems, lounge seating and giant high-definition screens showing sports and music videos. Beginners and seasoned bowlers alike can enjoy it, and even the youngest guests get in on the action with special dragon ramps. Beyond bowling, the venue offers a multi-level laser tag arena, a gravity ropes course, regulation-size billiards tables, and an arcade gallery with more than 100 of the latest interactive video games, both modern and retro. It’s the kind of place where a single visit can easily turn into a full afternoon, and nobody in the group has to sit on the sidelines.

The Laser Tag Arena

The laser tag experience at Main Event is a fast-paced game of strategy played across multiple levels. Teams maneuver through glow-in-the-dark pillars, arches and passageways while trying to overtake the opposing team’s base station. The arena is packed with obstacles and hurdles that keep each round thrilling and unpredictable. It’s a genuinely immersive setup with neon lighting and a fantasy-style atmosphere that appeals to kids and adults alike. The arena is popular for birthday parties and group outings, and the venue regularly runs laser tag specials, including discounted per-person rates on select weekdays.

Parties, Corporate Events & Team Building

Main Event Knoxville is one of the city’s go-to venues for celebrations of all kinds. There are dedicated private party rooms, full-service catering, big-screen TVs with modern audiovisual technology and free Wi-Fi. The venue handles everything from invitations to clean-up for kids’ birthday parties, making it a stress-free choice for parents. The same space works well for adult gatherings. There’s dedicated meeting room space that’s well suited for team building, mini retreats and planning sessions, and the venue regularly hosts company holiday parties, group outings and corporate events. Whether it’s a child’s birthday, a graduation, a corporate function or a team-building day, the flexible spaces and event staff can adapt to the occasion.

Food, Drinks & a Place to Unwind

When it’s time for a break, the full-service restaurant and bar have you covered. The menu features pizza, burgers and wings, along with chef-inspired American fare and signature artisan pizzas from La Bella’s Italian street food. There’s also a high-energy sports bar where adults can enjoy cocktails while the kids keep playing. The venue is designed so that families can spend hours here without running out of things to do. Between rounds of bowling or laser tag, guests can grab a meal, watch the big game on the giant screens, or simply kick back and relax in the lounge areas before heading back to the games.

The People Behind the Fun

A big part of what makes Main Event work is its staff. Reviews consistently highlight friendly, attentive employees and dedicated party hosts who go out of their way to make events special. From accommodating guests with special needs on the ropes course to keeping birthday parties running smoothly, the team is known for being welcoming and helpful. For anyone planning a party, the dedicated party hosts handle the details of the celebration, from running the show to managing the reserved party space. It’s the kind of service that lets guests focus on having fun while the venue takes care of the logistics.
