Main Event Lubbock

Laser Tag and Bowling on Lubbock’s West Side

Main Event is located in Lubbock, Texas, along the Marsha Sharp Freeway on the city’s west side. The center covers almost 65,000 square feet and is built around the chain’s idea of eating, bowling, and playing under one roof. It is one of the largest entertainment venues in the region, with room for families, school groups, and company events.

Multi-Level Laser Tag for Teams and Solo Players

Laser tag is the main team game here. Matches take place in a multi-level indoor arena, where players climb to higher positions and use the layout for cover. Reviewers describe the course as challenging for both children and adults. The chain offers team modes and free-for-all matches. A height requirement applies, which is 42 inches according to the chain’s activity page, so it is worth checking before bringing very young guests.

28 Lanes, Neon Mini Golf, and Gravity Ropes

The bowling center has 28 lanes with automatic scoring and ramps for younger bowlers, and reviewers praise the clean lanes and wide range of ball weights. A neon glow mini golf course gives guests a quieter game between rounds. Gravity Ropes, a high ropes course, adds a physical challenge. Billiards tables, MultiBall, and the Human Crane give groups more ways to play without leaving the building.

More Than 100 Arcade Games and Virtual Reality

The arcade has more than 100 interactive and virtual games, along with VR experiences. Many of the games pay out tickets, and players can trade them for prizes at the redemption counter. The center describes the arcade as a gallery of the latest titles. Families often start with bowling and laser tag and then finish with an hour of arcade play.

Birthdays, Corporate Events, and Meeting Rooms

Main Event hosts birthday parties, group events, and corporate outings. Birthday packages include a dedicated party host and a reserved party space, and the center also has dedicated meeting room space for team building, mini-retreats, and planning sessions. The venue can hold large crowds, and event listings show room for more than 1,000 guests. Groups can choose activities from bowling, laser tag, mini golf, and the arcade to match the occasion.

Chef-Inspired Dining and a Full Bar

The restaurant serves hand-stretched pizzas, signature sliders, burgers, and salads, and the full-service bar has cocktails and large HDTVs for sports. Guests have praised the pizza and burgers, although some reviewers say food service can vary. After the last game, the dining area is a place to compare scores and plan a rematch.
