About

Two Main Event Centers for San Antonio Families

Main Event has two centers in San Antonio, one in the Stone Oak area on the north side near Loop 1604 and one on the west side near Interstate 410 and State Highway 151. Both centers follow the chain’s idea of eating, bowling, and playing under one roof. They serve families and groups from different parts of the metro area, so a visitor can choose whichever one is closer to home or work.

Multi-Level Laser Tag With Team Play

Laser tag is the main team game at both centers. Matches take place in a multi-level indoor arena with team play options, where players move between levels, use the layout for cover, and score points with infrared blasters. The chain offers both team modes and free-for-all matches. A height requirement applies, which is 42 inches according to the chain’s activity page, so it is worth checking before bringing very young guests.

Bowling, Gravity Ropes, and More Than 100 Arcade Games

The North center has 22 bowling lanes, and the West center has 26. Both also have a gravity ropes course, where guests walk along ropes and beams about 20 feet above the floor, and an arcade with more than 100 games. Billiards tables and VR experiences fill out the lineup. Reviewers say the activities suit mixed ages, and the wrist-tag unlimited play option lets families move from one attraction to the next without paying separately.

Birthdays, Company Events, and Meeting Rooms

Both centers host birthday parties, group events, and corporate gatherings. Birthday packages include a dedicated party host and a reserved party space, and the staff handles invitations, setup, and cleanup, so parents only need to bring the cake and the kids. The West center has space dedicated to meeting rooms for team building, mini retreats, and company planning sessions, and parking is free on site. Event listings put the West center’s capacity at up to 1,500 guests, so it can handle large crowds.

Chef-Inspired Food and a Full Bar

Each center serves a full menu of American favorites, including pizza, burgers, and loaded fries, and a full bar offers beer and cocktails. Guests can eat between activities without leaving the building. After the last match, the dining area is a place to compare scores and plan a rematch.
