About
A Laser Tag and Bowling Hub in Tomball
Main Event is located in Tomball, Texas, northwest of Houston. The center opened in April 2022 as the chain’s 20th location in Texas. It follows the chain’s usual idea of eating, bowling, and playing under one roof, and it has become a regular destination for families and groups in the Tomball area.
Multi-Level Laser Tag for Teams and Solo Players
Laser tag is the main team game here. Matches take place in a multi-level indoor arena, where players can climb to higher positions and use the layout for cover. Reviewers mention groups of eleven or more playing laser tag together, so the arena handles sizable parties. The chain offers both team modes and free-for-all matches. A height requirement applies, which is 42 inches according to the chain’s activity page, so it is worth checking before bringing very young guests.
MultiBall, Bowling, and More Than 100 Arcade Games
The center has 22 lanes of bowling, including ramps for younger players so that no one misses out. It also has a gravity ropes course and more than 100 games that mix retro and modern titles. Tomball is one of the few Main Event centers in the country with MultiBall, an attraction that combines digital gaming with interactive sports. It gives guests something to try that most locations do not have.
Birthday Parties, Team Building, and Family Celebrations
Main Event Tomball hosts birthday parties, corporate meetings, and team-building events. Birthday packages include a dedicated party host and a reserved party space, and the staff can help plan the event. Guests have described bowling team days at the center that included drinks and good service. Family reunions and holiday gatherings also work well here, because children can move between laser tag, bowling, and the arcade while adults eat and talk.
A Full Restaurant and Bar Under the Same Roof
The restaurant serves pizza, burgers, wings, and shareable appetizers, and the bar offers cocktails, craft beer, and wine with large-screen TVs. Adults can watch a game while the children play, and the whole group can eat without leaving the building. After the last match, the dining area is a good place to compare scores and plan a rematch.
