Midway Paintball Facility is located in Vacaville, California, in the heart of the Solano County region, roughly halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco.

Six Fields, Endless Scenarios

Spread across just under 25 acres of outdoor space, Midway Paintball features six distinct and uniquely themed courses. Each field offers a different tactical environment — from open hyperball layouts with stacked bunkers to wooded scenario fields with natural cover and man-made structures. The variety ensures that no two games feel the same, whether players are navigating a castle-style fortification, weaving through spool fields, or engaging in close-quarters action in a village setting. The facility offers traditional .68 caliber paintball for players aged 10 and up, as well as low-impact .50 caliber paintball for younger participants aged 8 and older. Since November 2024, Midway has also introduced Gel Blasters — soft, biodegradable water bead blasters that burst on impact with minimal sting, making the park even more accessible to families and first-timers. Game formats include Elimination, Capture the Flag, Attack/Defend, Save the King, and more, all regulated by on-site referees.

Gear, Grub, and Gatherings

Rental equipment is available on-site without the need for a reservation. Players can rent paintball markers, air tanks, hoppers, and full-face masks. For those who bring their own gear, Midway allows BYOP (bring your own paint) for self-equipped players, while rental packages require field paint only. Additional paintballs can be purchased at the park in increments of 100, 500, 1,000, or 2,000 rounds. The facility features covered picnic tables and a barbecue area, making it easy for groups to bring their own food and drinks or order delivery from local restaurants like Domino's. Non-players are welcome to watch from the staging area at no additional cost. The atmosphere is relaxed and community-oriented — regulars and newcomers alike tend to mix well, creating a friendly, inclusive environment on the field and off.

Built for Birthdays, Bonding, and Team Building

Midway Paintball is a natural fit for private parties, birthday celebrations, corporate team-building events, and group outings of all kinds. Private reservations are available seven days a week by advance booking, allowing groups to play exclusively with their own members rather than joining public walk-on play. The park also hosts special events like the "Game o' Games" — a lighthearted, prop-filled paintball funday featuring microgames such as Gladiators (with shields), Freeze Tag, Bloodbath & Beyond, and Soccer. The staff includes trained referees who supervise all games, deliver safety briefings, and ensure fair play. The park operates rain or shine, and waivers can be filled out online in advance to speed up check-in. With its mix of accessible pricing, varied field designs, and a welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels, Midway Paintball remains a staple of the Northern California paintball scene.
