Mission Laser 757

A Family-Owned Laser Tag Arena in Norfolk

Mission Laser 757 is located on Raby Road in northwest Norfolk, Virginia, a short drive from Ghent, the Naval Station area, and the Virginia Beach line. The venue is owned and operated by Ashley and Robert Welch, who built it as an independent business and not a franchise. It serves families and groups from Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Suffolk, including many military families.

A Multi-Level, Fog-Filled Arena of About 6,000 Square Feet

The facility covers about 6,000 square feet and holds a multi-level laser tag arena with fog, music, and moving obstacles. It is described as one of the largest multi-level arenas in the area, and the games run in a space where players can climb ramps and hide behind barriers. All gear is provided, including vests, phasers, sensors, and score tracking for every player. Parents and friends can watch from an observation area inside the arena, and camera feeds run into the party rooms during games.

Ten Game Modes From Team Battles to Zombies

Players can choose from ten game modes, including classic Team and Free For All, Zombies, Oddball, and friendly fire team play. The staff picks the mode based on the group, so a family with young children can play something different from a team of coworkers. A standard game runs 20 minutes, and groups can book one, two, or three games in a row. Three games take about 90 minutes including the briefing. The venue also runs sensory-friendly events with reduced volume, gentler lighting, smaller groups, and shorter games.

Birthdays With Party Rooms, Mini Golf, and a Game Room

Birthday packages include a private party room for cake and gifts, a free t-shirt for the guest of honor, and food options from Papa John’s and Jimmy John’s. Packages also include access to miniature golf and the game room, and reviewers praise staff for keeping parties running smoothly. One family with four children aged 7 to 13 called the staff great and the price worth the time. The party rooms can be added to any package with at least two games.

Corporate Events, School Trips, and Military Gatherings

Mission Laser 757 hosts corporate team nights, school field trips, scout troop outings, and military family events. Group sizes range from 8 to 29 players per session, and weekday group rates are available for larger groups. Companies use the arena for quarterly offsites, and groups that want the whole venue can rent the facility for two or three hours. A private mission keeps the arena to a single group.
