Monster Mini Golf San Antonio

Glow-in-the-Dark Mini Golf in North Central San Antonio

Monster Mini Golf San Antonio is located in the Castle Hills area of north central San Antonio, Texas, near Loop 410 and Northwest Military Highway. It is part of a chain of indoor mini golf centers, and the San Antonio location combines a monster-themed course with laser tag, a laser maze, virtual reality, and an arcade. Everything is indoors, so a visit works the same way in a hot Texas summer as on a rainy afternoon.

An 18-Hole Blacklight Course Full of Monsters

The main attraction is an 18-hole mini golf course lit with ultraviolet light. Visitors putt through a cemetery with upended coffins, wall murals of cartoon monsters, three-dimensional sculptures, and hazards such as an ogre, a witch, and a fiendish clown. Silly, interactive animated monsters are scattered around the course. Guests describe the neon colors and DJ music as a big part of the atmosphere. The course is designed for all skill levels, and putters come in different sizes, with left-handed clubs available on request.

Blacklight Laser Tag, a Laser Maze, and VR

Laser tag takes place in a blacklight arena downstairs, and each game is a single round per player. Next to it is a laser maze, where players weave through beams without touching them, and a virtual reality station offers short plays. These attractions work well as a second act after mini golf. A group can split between a tag match and the maze, then meet in the arcade for the next round.

An Arcade, a Snack Bar, and Value Combos

The full arcade has classic and modern games, and visitors mention a themed corner called The Dungeon. A snack bar serves food and drinks between activities. Combos bundle mini golf with an arcade card and a laser tag game, so families can plan an afternoon at a fixed price. Discounts apply for seniors, military members, and college students with a valid ID. Reviewers say the staff is friendly and patient, and that it is easy to get help figuring out the course or the games.

Birthday Parties, Field Trips, and Date Nights

Birthday parties are a major focus, with a party host, private party rooms, and activities such as golf and laser tag. Reviewers say all party guests, including the parents, can play golf as part of the package, and every guest receives a buy-one-get-one discount card afterward. Outside food is allowed, and a refrigerator is available for guests. The center also hosts school field trips, fundraisers, group events, and date nights. On busy days the mini golf course can have a wait, so booking ahead is a good idea for larger groups.
