NOLA Paintball offers three separate playing fields, each designed to deliver a different kind of experience. The speedball field features inflatable bunkers arranged in tournament-style configurations, demanding quick reflexes, sharp communication, and agile movement — the same format seen in professional paintball competitions. The concept field, also called a rec field, is built for recreational players and casual groups, with a layout that encourages creative tactics and longer, more strategic games. The third field is dedicated to jellyball, a gentler alternative to traditional paintball. Jellyball uses smaller, water-filled capsules that are soft on impact, making it an excellent introduction for younger players ages five and up. The equipment is lighter and simpler, with no external air tanks, so kids can jump right in without feeling overwhelmed.

Seasonal Events and Themed Game Days

Throughout the year, NOLA Paintball runs special events that add an extra layer of excitement to the regular lineup. In past seasons, the park has hosted Zombie Hunts after dark using glow-in-the-dark paintballs, drawing crowds for a limited-run Halloween-style experience. The park has also organized "King of the South" tournaments, bringing together competitive teams from across the region for structured race-to-3 bracket play. Airsoft Sundays are another regular offering, giving airsoft players a dedicated day to enjoy the fields with their own gear. Chartin also runs Pelican Paintball Pro Shop & Repair in Metairie, where he sells professional-grade gear and provides equipment repair services. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of the game are reflected in the quality of the fields and the attention to safety and customer experience. The staff at NOLA Paintball includes knowledgeable referees and instructors who are present during private events to guide players, enforce safety rules, and keep the games running smoothly. For larger groups, an additional referee is brought in to ensure everyone stays safe and engaged.

Comfortable Outdoor Spaces and Convenient Amenities

Beyond the playing fields, NOLA Paintball provides outdoor seating and a lounge area where players can relax between matches, enjoy snacks, and recharge. Parking is available, and the park is open on weekends for walk-on play, while weekday visits are available by party booking only.
