On Target Action Park

On Target Action Park sits in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens in Pemberton, Burlington County, roughly 35 miles east of Philadelphia. Spread across 65 acres of sandy, pine-lined terrain, it has grown into one of the most talked-about outdoor action venues in the state.

Thirteen Fields, One Wild Backyard

The park is home to more than a dozen distinct, action-oriented playing fields, each with its own personality. Players can move from the tight urban corners of Town and Cargo City to the wide-open fire lanes of Desert Storm, or duck through the cover of Woods and Fences. There is a dedicated Speedball area with professional-grade astro turf, plus themed setups like Castle, Mega Fortress, Hyper Pipe, Big H, and Autozone that keep every rotation feeling fresh. Because the fields sit inside the Pine Barrens, the natural setting does a lot of the work. Sandy paths, scattered pines, and real elevation changes give each game a sense of place that indoor arenas simply cannot match. The variety means a group can spend a full day without ever replaying the same layout twice.

Paintball, Airsoft and Gellyball for Every Player

The core of the park is paintball, offered as open walk-on play on weekends and as private group sessions on weekdays. There is also a strong airsoft program with themed battlefields and walk-on days every Saturday and Sunday, plus a mag-fed paintball scene that draws a dedicated crowd on the first Saturday of each month. For younger players and families, low-impact gellyball provides the same energy without the sting. No experience is required, and rental gear is available for every discipline. Ages start around 10 for paintball and airsoft, while gellyball welcomes players as young as five, making it a rare venue where a whole family can take part in the same outing.

Gear, Referees and a Crew That Has Your Back

The staff at On Target are trained on current industry safety standards and stay on the field for every game, keeping play fair and safe. Rental packages include everything a player needs — a semi-auto marker, an anti-fog mask, an air tank, and an ammo belt — with free air fills included. Upgrades like electronic markers, padded vests, camo coveralls, and smoke grenades are available for those who want to add a little drama to the day. The park also runs its own media arm, APNewz, which covers mag-fed paintball, live event recaps, and community stories. It is a sign of how invested the crew is in the sport and the people who play it, rather than just running a business on weekends.

Birthdays, Corporate Days and Big Group Battles

On Target is built for groups. Birthday parties are a specialty — the park handles the gear, the fields, and the fun while the birthday crew just shows up. Corporate outings, bachelor parties, youth groups, and sports teams all book private sessions where it is just your group, your referee, and the fields you choose. Weekday bookings let groups dodge the weekend crowds and have the park largely to themselves. For those who want to see the park at its most theatrical, the special-event calendar is worth planning around. Signature games like Living Dead, Iron Gauntlet, and Winter Brawl draw players from across the region, and the park hosts its own competitive league for beginners. Gift cards are available, and military and first responders receive a discount for on-site carrying players.

More Than a Battlefield

Between games, there is a staging area where players can regroup, refuel, and swap war stories. Gellyball parties come with a private table and picnic area, and group bookings include space for friends and family who come along to watch. The park is open year-round, rain or shine, with weekend walk-on hours and weekday play by reservation. It is the kind of place where first-timers and weekend warriors end up on the same field, and where a casual birthday party can turn into a standing monthly tradition. Whether the goal is a corporate team-building day, a bachelor blowout, or simply an excuse to get the kids off their phones, On Target delivers a full day of genuine outdoor adventure.
