About

A Working Farm Turned Battlefield

Paintball Country sits on the grounds of the Niederman Family Farm, a fourth-generation working farm at 5110 Lesourdsville West Chester Road in Liberty Township, Ohio, roughly midway between Cincinnati and Dayton. What began in 2000 as a handful of locals asking to play paintball in an old cow pasture has grown into one of the largest paintball facilities in the tri-state region. The farm’s history is woven into the experience — old water tanks, hay bales, and cast-off farm equipment were repurposed into bunkers, giving the fields a rustic, authentic character you won’t find at a typical commercial park. The club is open year-round on weekends, with Saturday open play from 11 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm. Weekday sessions are available by reservation for groups. Players must be at least ten years old, and everyone signs a waiver before stepping onto the field.

Ten Fields, Countless Ways to Play

Paintball Country features ten distinct playing fields, including two-story fort fields, speedball, hyperball, X-ball, and wooded areas that wind along the forest line. The variety means every visit can feel different — you might storm a fortified tower in one game and sprint through the woods in the next. The facility also includes a lighted field, so play can continue into the evening. The club hosts major tournaments and themed events ranging from Star Wars to Wizard of Oz, and referees run through the rules before every game, making it easy for first-timers to jump right in. Walk-on players are grouped onto courses by skill level, so newcomers aren’t thrown in over their heads.

Gear, Pro Shop, and Everything in Between

For players who don’t own equipment, Paintball Country offers a full range of rentals, from a basic Tippmann 98 package to upgraded barrels and EMEK markers. The on-site pro shop carries markers, masks, air tanks, hoppers, barrel cleaners, batteries, gloves, and apparel, so you can gear up before you play. Field paint is required — outside paint isn’t allowed — and cases and bags are sold on site. The facility also has a snack bar where you can grab Gatorade, water, soda, snacks, and pizza by the slice or whole pie. Most weekends, the staff even orders pizza in for the snack bar, a small touch that regulars clearly appreciate.

Parties, Teams, and Corporate Retreats

Paintball Country is a natural fit for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, church outings, family reunions, youth day camps, and sports teams. Private weekend parties bring together groups of ten or more with their own dedicated referee and access to a shared indoor party room, where groups can bring decorations, cake, food, and drinks. Weekday private sessions offer exclusive access to the entire facility for four hours. Corporate teams have their own dedicated program, with structured team-building formats that include goal-based objectives, capture scenarios, and leadership rotations. Most corporate groups book two-to-four-hour events, and larger full-day retreats can be arranged. The club is just 30 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, making it a convenient offsite destination.

Covered Pavilions and a Place to Unwind

Because Paintball Country lives on a working farm, there’s more to the visit than the game itself. Covered pavilions and barns keep groups dry during parties while they’re off the field, and the restored 1890s barn offers modern amenities for larger gatherings. The shared indoor party room for private parties features cafeteria-style tables and space for food and decorations. The farm itself is a destination — visitors can enjoy hayrides, see livestock, and take in farm tours, and the Gregory Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast offers overnight stays. It’s the kind of place where the paintball is the main event, but the farm setting makes the whole outing feel like a day away from the ordinary.

Season Passes and a Welcoming Staff

Regulars can become season pass holders and enjoy exclusive benefits, including discounts on field fees and paint. The staff is frequently praised in reviews for being friendly, knowledgeable, and informative, with referees who keep games safe and fun. One reviewer noted playing at Paintball Country for over ten years, a testament to the community the club has built. Whether you’re a first-timer learning the ropes or a seasoned pro, the club’s mission is to provide solid equipment, facilities, and experiences for players of all skill levels. It’s a place where families, friends, and coworkers come together for all-day fun at a fair price.
