Paintball Zone is one of the largest paintball parks in Greater Houston, and it’s built around the idea that there’s something for every age and skill level. Traditional .68 caliber paintball is the main draw for players 10 and up, while Low Impact Paintball uses smaller, lighter markers that shoot at a lower velocity — a gentler way in for younger players from age 7. Beyond paintball, the park runs airsoft games, Gel Blaster parties for the little ones, Ultimate Nerf parties, Arrow Tag, and Bubble Ball soccer, so a single visit can cover a lot of ground. The park also plays at night on its lighted maps, which gives the games a different feel once the sun goes down. Whether you’re a first-timer or a weekend regular, there’s always a crowd to join, and the staff keeps the action moving from one match to the next.

Twenty Acres of Maps and Cover

The property spans 20 acres with a mix of urban and woods maps. There’s a Call of Duty-inspired field, a helicopter map with two buses, and a brand-new two-acre maze that has quickly become a favorite. In total there are eight maps, most larger than an acre, which gives players plenty of room to hide, flank, and run rather than getting stuck in close quarters. The park has over 140,000 square feet of turf, so games can keep going even on rainy days. Paved parking, indoor restrooms, and covered picnic areas spread across the property make it comfortable for groups, and the on-site paintball store is one of the biggest and most up-to-date in Houston.

Game Modes and Group Programs

A rotating set of game modes keeps things fresh — Capture the Flag, Domination, Search & Destroy, Team Deathmatch, Zombie Invasion, and Disarm the Bomb all make regular appearances. Groups of 10 or more automatically get a private group with their own guide, letting them play every map as a unit. There’s also a popular three-event special that combines paintball, arrow tag, and bubble ball in a single outing. The park is a natural fit for birthday parties, church groups, corporate outings, and bachelor or bachelorette celebrations. For parties of 10 or more, the birthday person or the bachelor/bachelorette gets in free, and the deposit is always applied to the final total — you only pay for the players who actually show up.
