About

Rex Center is an active, operating venue — it’s a real indoor family fun center located inside the Boulevard Mall near the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. It opened in 2017 and continues to welcome guests today.

A Dinosaur-Themed Playground Under One Roof

Rex Center was created to give Las Vegas an all-new kind of indoor entertainment that works for both kids and adults. The moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by a playful prehistoric theme, with dinosaurs peeking out from every corner. It’s a place where a family can spend an entire afternoon without ever stepping outside, and where the energy stays high no matter your age. The venue is built around variety. Instead of offering just one activity, it packs several attractions into a single space, so a single visit can include a laser tag battle, a go-kart race, a round of mini golf, and a climb up a rock wall. That mix of options makes it easy to keep a group entertained for hours, whether you’re a local looking for a weekend outing or a tourist taking a break from the Strip.

Laser Tag Battles in a Black-Light Arena

The laser tag arena is one of the main draws, and it’s designed to feel like a real battlefield. It’s a massive, multi-level space lit by black lights, filled with dinosaur-themed obstacles, hidden pathways, and interactive hit zones. Players weave through the dimly lit maze, ducking behind cover and planning their next move as they try to outscore their opponents. The arena works for casual play and private parties alike, and each round runs about seven minutes, which keeps the pace snappy. Whether you’re competing against friends and family or just testing your own aim, the glowing, immersive setting makes every match feel like a small adventure. It’s the kind of arena that keeps players coming back for one more round.

Go-Karts, Climbing Walls, and Neon Mini Golf

Beyond laser tag, Rex Center offers a full lineup of attractions. The electric go-karts cruise around a multi-level indoor track at speeds up to 15 miles per hour, with bumper guards that make racing safe for younger drivers. The track is the centerpiece of the venue, and it’s a favorite for kids who love to pace out the competition. There’s also an 18-hole mini golf course with a glow-in-the-dark, dinosaur theme, ten rock climbing walls of varying difficulty, and neon glow axe throwing for older groups. Add in extras like black-light mega pong and carnival-style games, and there’s genuinely something for everyone. The variety means a group can split up, try different things, and come back together to compare stories.

Parties, Private Rooms, and Group Celebrations

Rex Center is well set up for celebrations. There are two private party rooms — a small one that seats up to 16 people and a larger one that seats up to 25 — plus options for a full private buyout of the facility. The staff supplies plates, forks, knives, spoons, and cups, and guests are welcome to bring in their own table decorations and balloons. The party packages are built around wristbands that give each guest access to the go-karts, mini golf, laser tag, and climbing walls, with food add-ons like pizza, soda, chicken fingers, and fries. That makes it a natural fit for birthday parties, family gatherings, and group events. With free parking and a booking process that runs through a manager, planning a celebration here is straightforward and stress-free.

Friendly Staff and a Family-First Atmosphere

Reviews consistently highlight the helpful and accommodating staff, from the managers to the go-kart crew, who go out of their way to make groups feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where the team knows how to keep things running smoothly even when a big group of kids shows up at once. The venue also shows its appreciation for the community with discounts for military members, first responders, and CCSD teachers. Combined with the clean, well-maintained space and the affordable pricing that families often praise, it’s clear that Rex Center puts a priority on being a welcoming, family-first destination rather than just another tourist trap.

Play, Eat, and Repeat

After all that activity, guests can refuel at the on-site food options, which include a full menu featuring favorites like pizza by the slice. The Dinosaur Cafe adds to the theme, giving families a place to sit down, relax, and recharge between rounds of play. The venue also offers flexible pass options — single attraction, half-day, and full-day passes — so visitors can choose how much they want to pack into their visit. With a comfortable place to eat, a party room for celebrations, and hours of attractions to explore, Rex Center is designed for a full day of play, food, and repeat visits.
