Skinny Dogz

A Downtown Ogden Fun Center in The Junction

Skinny Dogz is located in The Junction, downtown Ogden’s entertainment district, in Weber County, Utah. The venue was previously known as Fat Cats Ogden and kept its bowling lanes, arcade, and laser tag arena after the rebrand. It calls itself Ogden’s elite family fun center and serves guests from Layton, Roy, Clearfield, and the rest of northern Utah.

A Multi-Level Laser Tag Arena With Ten-Minute Games

Laser tag takes place in a futuristic multi-level arena with immersive lighting and sound. Each session lasts 10 minutes, and the first game costs a few dollars, with a lower price for additional games. The venue calls it a family favorite in northern Utah. Reviewers on the venue’s own pages say that laser tag does not care about job titles, which makes it a popular icebreaker for company groups. Local reviewers call the bowling and laser tag great and affordable.

Gel Blasters for Teens and Adults Who Want More Intensity

Gel blasters give teens and adults a more intense option than laser tag. Players use water-based gel pellets in game zones built like battle arenas, with team games for groups. The venue lists gel blasters as one of the activities teens and adults often rank as their favorite. Both laser tag and gel blasters work for birthdays and corporate events, and groups can book private sessions. Equipment and safety gear are provided.

32 Lanes, Thunder Alley Cosmic Bowling, and Billiards

The bowling center has 32 lanes with bumpers for children and modern scoring, and shoe rental is included in the lane prices. Thunder Alley cosmic bowling turns the lanes into a glow party each night, with blacklights, music, and glow-in-the-dark effects. Beyond bowling, the venue has billiards, cornhole, and a full arcade. Reviewers on the venue’s pages note that credits go quickly, so a game card with bonus credits can help stretch a visit.

Birthdays, Team Building, and a Scratch-Kitchen Cafe

Birthday parties are a major focus, with a dedicated host, decorations, unlimited soft drinks, and a time-play card for the guest of honor. Packages combine bowling, laser tag, gel blasters, pizza, and arcade play, and the venue also hosts corporate team-building events and large group buffet parties. A scratch-kitchen cafe serves food and drinks, so groups can eat between activities. Seasonal events such as the Trunk or Treat add to the family atmosphere.
