It is a fully indoor, 22,000-square-foot facility, which means the games go on year-round no matter what the Texas weather decides to do. The space is insulated and air-conditioned, so players stay comfortable even in the middle of a Houston summer or a rainy afternoon. The building is designed with glass walls that open up views of the playing fields, so spectators, parents, and friends can watch all the action without stepping onto the turf. There is free parking in a dedicated lot with easy access to and from the main road, making it a straightforward place to reach for a quick visit or a planned event.

Two Indoor Courses Built for Action

The facility features two indoor courses with fully padded turf fields and inflatable bunkers. The layouts are updated regularly to keep the experience fresh, so returning players do not run the same setup twice. The padded surfaces and bunkers make for a lively, fast-paced game while adding a layer of comfort for players of all ages. Because everything is indoors, the fields are available for play regardless of weather. Players can book private groups or join walk-on sessions, where they are grouped with other renters. The facility is a field-paint-only venue, using high-quality PMI paintballs, and no outside paintballs are allowed.

Games for Every Style and Skill Level

Splat Zone offers traditional paintball alongside low-impact paintball and glow-in-the-dark Gellyball, giving guests a range of intensity levels to choose from. Beginners are welcome with no experience required, and the minimum age to play is five. The low-impact and Gellyball options are a gentler way for younger players or first-timers to get into the sport. The facility also runs special programs, including paintball camps, a parents’ night out, and the Trinity 3-Man Series for more competitive players. Walk-ons are welcome without a reservation, though the venue recommends booking rental gear in advance because equipment is first-come, first-served and often sells out.

More Than Paintball: Parties, Pickleball, and Comforts

Beyond the paintball fields, Splat Zone has added four indoor pickleball courts available for hourly rental, making it a versatile destination for groups with mixed interests. On-site amenities include a pro shop with the latest gear, clean ADA-accessible restrooms with diaper changing stations, storage lockers, and free Wi-Fi. For downtime, the facility regularly rotates food trucks and offers beer and wine, so players can recharge between matches. Two private party rooms are available for events, giving groups a place to keep belongings safe and sit back after the games. All party packages include two hours of party time, rental equipment for each player, a party host, and a reserved table in the main seating area.

The staff at Splat Zone includes qualified referees who attend every game to ensure safe and fair play, along with certified techs who can help players get their equipment working. The rental gear is brand new and considered among the best in the industry, and all rental masks use anti-fog thermal lenses so players can see the whole game clearly. The venue is a popular choice for birthday parties, bachelor parties, corporate team building, youth groups, and sports teams. Private group play requires a minimum of eight players, and groups of ten or more must book as a private party. Reservations require 24-hour advance notice to guarantee equipment, and booking on a weekday (Monday through Thursday) saves $100.
