About

Where the Wilderness Meets the Battlefield

Twin Cities Airsoft Park is located in the quiet rural community of Emerald, Wisconsin, roughly 45 minutes east of the Twin Cities metro area. The park sits on a sprawling 80-acre property at the crossroads of St. Croix County, easily accessible from the greater Minneapolis–Saint Paul region.

Eighty Acres of Tactical Playground

The park’s terrain is remarkably diverse — dense forests, open meadows, winding streams, wooden bridges, rolling hills, deep ravines, and even a lake are all part of the landscape. Players navigate through themed zones including a castle, a small city, wooded areas, and an island course. Recent additions include a new two-story tower on the Island course, and the field is constantly evolving with new builds and improvements. The property is a Co-Op style facility with no membership fees, meaning any group of airsoft players can set up an open or private game time.

Game Modes for Every Style of Play

Walk-on games are held regularly, giving individual players a chance to drop in and join the action. For those looking for a more curated experience, private group games can be arranged. The park hosts a packed calendar of special events throughout the year, including massive scenario games like Operation Overlord DDAY (a High Intensity Airsoft event), Armageddon, Colony Wars, and the legendary Giant Airsoft Game series — multi-day events that draw hundreds of players from across the Midwest. Standard game modes include capture the flag, team deathmatch, and objective-based missions.

Built by Players, Run for Players

The park is owned and operated by Darrin, a longtime airsoft enthusiast who purchased the land specifically to create a dedicated airsoft destination. The staff and referees are known throughout the community for being welcoming, helpful, and encouraging — especially with newcomers and younger players. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with players as young as 10 welcome (with a signed parental waiver). The community that has grown around the park is often described as top-notch, supportive, and inclusive.

More Than Just a Game

Beyond the battles, the park offers a warming house for cold-weather play, complete with heat and hot food and drinks for sale. On chilly days, players are often treated to free hot dogs and hot chocolate as a thank-you for coming out. Parking is ample, and camping is available on-site for multi-day events. From May through October, Airsoft Armory brings a mobile store to the field one or two weekends a month, offering high-end rentals, HPA fills, and gear. The park operates year-round — spring, summer, fall, and winter — and only requires bio BBs on the field. Whether it’s a birthday party, a corporate team-building outing, or a weekend with friends, the park provides a full-throttle airsoft experience with a community-first mindset.
