TXR Paintball is located in Cypress, Texas, northwest of Houston, serving players from Tomball, Katy, The Woodlands, Klein, Spring, Conroe, Richmond, Rosenberg, and surrounding Houston areas. The facility sits on Grant Road and has been a fixture of the Houston paintball scene for over two decades, with roots tracing back to Paintball U.S.A. and 65 combined years of industry experience.

Seven Unique Battlefields Under One Roof

TXR Paintball offers access to seven distinct playing maps, each designed to deliver a different tactical experience. Players can rotate through woodsball terrain with natural cover, speedball fields with inflatable bunkers, PSP airball layouts, and hybrid maps that blend both styles. The variety means no two games feel the same, and groups can move between fields throughout the day. The staging area is surrounded by tall, well-maintained netting that keeps spectators safe while still giving them a clear view of the action.

From First-Timers to Seasoned Veterans

The club caters to every skill level. Beginners can start with low-impact .50 caliber paintball, which delivers a lighter hit and is great for kids ages 8 and up, or try Gellyball — the lowest-impact option that uses soft gel balls and is suitable for ages 6 and up. First-time players receive a full safety briefing from experienced refs before heading out. For seasoned players, TXR hosts competitive Sunday play with speedball and woodsball options, plus regular tournaments and scenario events throughout the year.

Epic Scenario Events and Big Games

TXR is Houston’s home to 26-hour scenario games and hosts a nationwide scenario series that visits twice a year. The Twister Big Game brings a tornado-themed showdown with purpose-built maps, storm-inspired missions, rockets, push tanks, First Strike rounds, night play, and hyperball games. The Escape from TXR Big Game is another signature event scheduled for December 5, 2026. These multi-day events include camping on site, awards ceremonies, raffles, and community gatherings where players swap war stories around the fire.

Parties, Corporate Events, and Team Building

TXR Paintball is a popular destination for birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, church groups, and corporate team-building events. Private group packages include covered party tables, a private referee, and two hours of exclusive playtime. The facility also offers a mobile shooting booth that can bring the paintball experience to your driveway or backyard for birthday parties, church festivals, company picnics, and block parties. Large groups and corporate outings can book reservations seven days a week.

The referees at TXR are avid paintball players themselves who know the game inside and out. They’re trained to explain and enforce safety rules strictly, and the facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive behavior. The staging area is protected by tall netting, and all equipment is continually upgraded and maintained.
