About

The Zero Latency VR arena is located inside LEVEL UP, MGM Grand’s tech-savvy gaming lounge, near the Las Vegas Strip entrance and adjacent to Hakkasan.

Free-Roam VR in a 2,000-Square-Foot Arena

This is untethered, warehouse-scale virtual reality at its most freeing. The arena spans roughly 2,000 square feet of open space with no physical obstacles, which means players can walk, dodge, and explore the virtual world naturally without tripping over props. Thanks to Zero Latency’s latest platform release, the Las Vegas venue no longer requires backpack PCs or bulky equipment—just a headset, headphones, and a controller or rifle. Up to eight players share the same virtual space at once, seeing one another as full-motion avatars and staying in constant voice contact. A Zero Latency staff member stays inside the arena to set up combat and oversee each session, so the experience runs smoothly from start to finish. The open layout lets teams freely roam through environments that feel far larger than the room itself.

A Lineup of Immersive Tactical Adventures

The game library rotates through several distinct 30-minute missions. Zombie Survival drops the team into a zombie apocalypse where survivors must band together, rebuild safety barriers, and hold off wave after wave of the undead until extraction. Outbreak Origins expands on that theme with a deadly virus, hordes of zombies, and a shadowy group at the root of the outbreak, arming players with assault rifles, shotguns, and sniper rifles. For something different, Singularity sends teams through a secretive military space station to battle rogue robots and killer drones in a zero-gravity environment. Engineerium offers a lighter, puzzle-driven adventure set in a fantastical world of flying whales and giant parrots, where players solve physics-based challenges together on floating platforms. Each game runs about 30 minutes and supports the full eight-player team.

Built for Groups, Friends, and Team Building

Because every session is cooperative and communication-driven, the arena is a natural fit for birthdays, corporate outings, team-building events, and friendly gatherings. The missions demand coordination, quick thinking, and shared strategy, which makes them just as rewarding for colleagues as for groups of friends. The venue is open to players ages 13 and up, with guests under 18 required to be accompanied by a responsible adult over 21. Groups can book the full eight-player experience, turning a single session into a shared adventure where everyone works toward a common goal. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, a company off-site, or a weekend with friends, the arena gives every group a memorable, hands-on activity that gets people moving and talking.

Beyond the Arena: The LEVEL UP Lounge

The VR arena sits inside LEVEL UP, MGM Grand’s gaming lounge, which pairs the virtual reality experience with a collection of new-to-market and traditional arcade favorites. After a session, players can step into the lounge for a drink and unwind while comparing scores and reliving the highlights. It’s a convenient setup that turns a single VR session into a longer outing. The lounge’s location near the Strip entrance and adjacent to Hakkasan makes it easy to combine a game with dining or other MGM Grand entertainment. The arena is also accessible to younger players through a side entrance that keeps them off the casino floor, which is a thoughtful touch for families and mixed-age groups.

What to Know Before You Play

Sessions are priced at $50 per person for a 30-minute experience, and reservations are recommended since the arena fills up, especially on weekends. The venue is open daily, with operating hours that run from late morning into the evening. Payment is accepted in cash and by credit card. Players are geared up with a headset, headphones, and a controller or gun before entering the arena, and staff guide the group through the setup. Because the experience is fully free-roam and untethered, there’s no need to worry about cables or backpacks—just show up ready to move. It’s an accessible, high-energy activity that suits everyone from first-time VR players to seasoned gamers.
