Zulu24 – Airsoft & Mil-Sim Tactical Park is located in New Windsor, New York, in the Hudson Valley region of the state.
A Field Built by Players, for Players
Zulu24 is one of the largest airsoft fields in New York, spanning more than a hundred acres of dynamic terrain that mixes dense woodlands with built-up urban environments. The park was created by airsoft players, built by players, and is still run by players, which shows in the way every corner of the property seems designed around real gameplay rather than simple open space. The terrain is remarkably varied. There are wooded areas for long-range woodland skirmishes, a tight CQB “city” field for close-quarters action, and themed interactive worlds that include a village, a castle, and even a Higgins boat assault area. Most fields are cleared for play, but there is plenty of natural cover for those who prefer a more tactical, slower-paced style of engagement.
Weekend Open Play and Mil-Sim Days
The park runs open play every weekend of the year, welcoming walk-on players of all skill levels. Beyond the standard weekend games, Zulu24 has introduced a “Milsim Day” format — a longer, continuous game experience built for players who want deeper teamwork, leadership, and strategy. These sessions feature an evolving role system that can include team commanders, squad leaders, medics, engineers, EOD specialists, and JTACs, with objectives tracked live. The park also partners with scenario companies to host larger mil-sim events throughout the year, such as Operation Blood Diamond and Operation Crossroads. These bigger games draw players from across the region and have even featured helicopters and pilots for airlift missions. Rules follow standard outdoor-field guidelines, with rifles capped at 400 FPS, pistols at 350, and bolt-action rifles at 500, and automatic fire reserved for support weapons.
Gear for Every Level
For newcomers and veterans alike, Zulu24 offers rental equipment so you can jump into a game without owning a single piece of gear. Rental packages range from a basic setup with a gun, magazine, and battery, up to a full package that adds face and eye protection, and a premium option with an upgraded AEG, red dot sight, tactical vest, and sling. BBs and spare batteries are available for purchase on site. Right next to the field sits Zulu Outdoor, a small, family-run retail store that stocks airsoft rifles, pistols, and gear for the every-weekend player. It’s a convenient spot to pick up anything you forgot at home or to upgrade your loadout before heading out onto the field.
More Than a Game
Zulu24 is well suited for group outings of all kinds, from birthday parties and bachelor parties to corporate team-building events. The park’s mix of large open fields and tight urban zones means groups of different sizes and experience levels can all find a format that works for them. The staff is widely regarded as helpful and welcoming, and the field is properly insured and registered with NEASG, making it a safe choice for organized events. The community around the park is active and engaged, with an official Discord server, a podcast, and a strong social media presence. Whether you’re a seasoned airsoft veteran or a first-time player, the park’s commitment to realism and its welcoming atmosphere make it a go-to destination for the tri-state area.
Comforts Between Matches
Between games, the park offers a few simple comforts that make a full day out easy. There’s private parking on site, a picnic and BBQ area, and a fire pit where players can gather and relax after a long day of play. Self-contained RVs are welcome, which is a nice touch for groups traveling from further away or for those who want to make a weekend of it. The combination of a well-maintained field, on-site retail, and comfortable gathering spaces makes Zulu24 a place where you can easily spend an entire day — from the first chrono check in the morning to a relaxed cookout by the fire pit in the evening.
