FUN Conference 2026: The Premier Event for US Laser Tag Operators

05/28/2026 nevidimkastd

From May 11–13, the Loveland Laser Tag Fun Center in Loveland, Colorado, hosted the FUN Conference 2026 — the must-attend event for professionals in the laser tag and family entertainment center (FEC) industry. The conference was organized by Laserforce, one of the world’s longest-running and most trusted manufacturers of commercial laser tag equipment.

What Is FUN Conference?

FUN Conference is an annual industry gathering that brings together owners and managers of laser tag arenas, trampoline parks, bowling alleys, escape rooms, arcades, and family entertainment centers from across North America. Unlike large trade shows like IAAPA, FUN Conference focuses on hands-on learning, genuine networking, and real-world experience sharing between operators. The format encourages informal conversations, roundtables, and panel discussions where attendees can openly discuss business challenges.

Program and Key Speakers

The conference kicked off on Monday, May 11, with a welcome cocktail hour at Loveland Laser Tag — an informal evening of networking, food, and drinks. The main program unfolded on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Keynote speaker was Matt Engram, Owner and CEO of Fritz’s Adventure (Branson, Missouri, and The Colony, Texas). A general contractor by trade, Engram built Fritz’s from the ground up, recently expanding his unique vision for family connection and exploration to a second location. His expertise in blending intentional design with creative, safe challenges offered invaluable insights for any operator looking to build unforgettable guest experiences.

Other notable speakers included:

  • Chris Epstein (Laserforce) — presenting the latest laser tag technologies.
  • Megan Burtch — on arcade and redemption business strategies.
  • Mik Oca (US Design Lab) — on attraction design and theming.

A standout session was the “AI For Business” panel, exploring how artificial intelligence can help entertainment centers optimize operations, forecast attendance, and personalize guest offers.

Who’s Behind It?

Laserforce has been a pioneer in commercial laser tag for nearly four decades — they created the world’s first commercial laser tag system, and their equipment is installed in hundreds of venues worldwide. Hosting the FUN Conference is part of their strategy to support operators and grow the community.

Why It Matters

FUN Conference 2026 is more than just a conference — it’s where industry trends are shaped. In an increasingly competitive market, operators need to share knowledge, adopt new technologies, and learn from each other. Events like FUN Conference help small family centers stay afloat and compete with larger chains.

The next FUN Conference is expected in 2027 — and based on attendee feedback, the organizers have plenty of room to grow.
