About

AREA15 sits about a mile west of the Las Vegas Strip, just off Interstate 15 in the Rancho Drive area of Las Vegas. It was built on the site of a former Mercedes-Benz dealership and opened its doors in September 2020, quickly becoming one of the city’s most visited non-gaming destinations.

Immersive Games and Interactive Quests

AREA15 is less a single club and more a sprawling playground where art, technology, and play collide. The heart of the experience is Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, a 52,000-square-foot interactive art installation disguised as a surreal grocery store, where visitors wander through hidden portals and an alternate universe hiding in the freezer aisle. Alongside it, guests can step into the John Wick Experience, a high-stakes walk-through that puts them inside the Las Vegas Continental, or dive into Interstellar Arc, a fully immersive VR journey to an exoplanet 11 light-years from Earth. For those who love hands-on competition, there is Hado AR Dodgeball, where players strap on augmented reality glasses and blast virtual dodgeballs at opponents in a fast, futuristic arena. The complex also offers a Laser Maze that challenges guests to outsmart a labyrinth of beams, plus Art Quest, Origin Quest, and Particle Quest — scavenger-style adventures that turn the whole building into one giant game board.

The Arena and Its Surreal Spaces

The main hall, known as The Spine, stretches 300 feet long and is bathed in blacklights and neon colors, with a 12-foot projection-mapped skull greeting visitors at the entrance. The space is packed with rides and installations, including Haley’s Comet, an indoor zip-line rollercoaster that glides through the Spine, and the new Eye Dropper, a psychedelic drop ride. Liftoff carries guests 130 feet into the air in an open-air balloon for a sweeping 360-degree view of the Strip. Beyond the rides, the building houses Wink World, a series of neon-infused infinity rooms designed by a co-founder of the Blue Man Group, and Museum Fiasco, an immersive audiovisual room that recreates the energy of an underground rave. The outdoor Art Island displays monumental sculptures from the Burning Man festival, making the entire complex feel like a living, evolving gallery.

Signature Experiences and Themed Worlds

AREA15 is home to several headline attractions that anchor the district. Universal Horror Unleashed, the first permanent year-round horror experience from Universal, brings classic monsters to life with live entertainment and themed food and drinks. The John Wick Experience lets guests explore the assassin’s sanctuary, complete with a themed bar and gift shop. Oddyssey Manor offers an immersive cocktail theater experience for adults, blending storytelling with crafted drinks. The complex is divided into two zones — the original Bunkers, which houses Omega Mart and the Oddwood bar, and the expanding Terminals district, which continues to introduce new attractions. Visitors can move between zones on the Grounded Intradistrict Tram, and the ever-changing lineup means there is almost always something new to discover on a return visit.

Bars, Dining, and Places to Unwind

When the games wind down, AREA15 offers plenty of ways to relax and refuel. The Asylum Bar + Arcade blends vintage arcade games with handcrafted cocktails and alcohol-infused slushies across two levels, while Oddwood is a cocktail lounge built around a giant artificial Japanese maple tree made of thousands of LED lights. Dueling Axes provides 18 axe-throwing lanes with a full-service bar, and Five Iron Golf brings indoor golf simulators with teaching pros and a bar. Dining ranges from The Beast, a steampunk-inspired gastropub, to Kaia, a modern Asian kitchen, plus coffee spots, boba bars, and sweet-treat shops scattered throughout. The Continental Bar inside the John Wick Experience serves cocktails with a code, and the Sanctuary offers a private lounge space with a volcano-shaped canopy for events.

A Venue for Every Occasion

AREA15 is a natural fit for birthdays, corporate events, team-building outings, and group celebrations of nearly any size. The venue offers full-service event planning, private buyouts, and curated group packages designed for parties of ten or more, making it a popular choice for companies looking to reward teams with something far more memorable than a standard dinner. Families, couples, and groups of friends all find something to enjoy, and the all-ages daytime atmosphere shifts into an adults-only energy on weekend nights. The staff and operators behind AREA15 bring deep experience in immersive entertainment, from the artists of Meow Wolf to the designers of the John Wick attraction, ensuring every experience is polished and thoughtfully crafted. With free wandering through the art installations, no ticket required just to explore, and a calendar packed with live events, concerts, and limited-time shows, AREA15 has earned its reputation as a top destination for both locals and visitors.
