Where the Battle Begins
Battle Lab is located in Ontario, California, a city in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, roughly 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
More Than Just Airsoft — A Tactical Playground
While airsoft is the main event, Battle Lab has expanded its offerings to include Gel Ball and NERF battles, making the arena accessible to a wider range of ages and comfort levels. Airsoft (recommended for ages 12 and up) delivers the most realistic tactical experience with plastic BBs and military-style replica firearms. Gel Ball (ages 7–13) uses soft, biodegradable water beads that burst on impact — a low-pain, mess-free alternative that still feels action-packed. NERF (ages 6–10) keeps things light and safe with foam dart blasters, perfect for younger players and family-friendly events. The facility also features a state-of-the-art Virtual Shooting Lounge with multiple immersive shooting games, where visitors can test their precision and reflexes in simulation-based scenarios. This hybrid approach — live-action combat plus high-tech virtual shooting — sets Battle Lab apart from traditional airsoft-only venues.
The Arena: Built for Close-Quarters Strategy
Battle Lab is an indoor CQB (Close Quarters Battle) field designed for fast-paced, tactical gameplay. The arena is packed with a variety of cover structures, barriers, and obstacles that create a dynamic labyrinth of corridors and engagement zones. The layout encourages strategic movement, team coordination, and quick decision-making. Players navigate through a mix of open sightlines and tight corners, making every match feel different. The field runs back-to-back games with just 5-minute reload times between sessions, meaning players get maximum trigger time. With a single entry ticket, visitors can jump into as many games as they can handle throughout their session. The arena also hosts special immersive events like the "Bravo 6" survival horror airsoft series, which transforms the space into a narrative-driven, zombie-themed tactical experience.
Gear Up and Go — Rentals and the Pro Shop
For those who don't own their own equipment, Battle Lab offers a full rental arsenal. Players can rent M4-style electric rifles, premium rifles with added accessories, gas-powered pistols, tactical vests, full-face masks, and tactical jumpsuits. Batteries and extra magazines are also available. All rentals require a valid ID and a refundable deposit. The facility also houses an Evike Outpost Ontario on-site — a retail store where players can browse and purchase top-tier airsoft guns, gear, and accessories. Whether someone is a first-timer looking to try the sport or a seasoned veteran needing an upgrade, the pro shop has them covered. Battle Lab also operates a unique "Class System" based on weapon FPS, allowing players to choose from different weapon tiers and play styles. A one-time purchase of the Battle Lab Pack ($15) is required to participate.
Fuel, Rest, and Celebrate — The Arsenal and Private Spaces
After the action, players can head to The Arsenal, the on-site restaurant and bar open on Saturdays and Sundays. The Arsenal serves up food, beers, seltzers, and specialty cocktails in a space packed with military memorabilia and props. It's a place to decompress, share stories from the field, and refuel. For groups looking to extend their celebration, Battle Lab offers a Private Lounge available for one hour, which can be upgraded with a decoration package. Food packages — the Battle Bundle ($50), Ammunition ($100), and Ranger Rations ($140) — can be added to any group booking to keep everyone fed and hydrated. The venue is a natural fit for birthdays, corporate team-building events, private parties, and any gathering that calls for adrenaline and camaraderie. The staff includes trained referees who supervise gameplay, enforce safety rules, and keep the experience fair and fun for everyone.
