Forest Flanks & Victory Cheers — Our Weekend at Xtream Paintball

11/10/2025 obarhatovamailru

Last Saturday, my partner and I rounded up a lively group of seven friends for a bold outdoor outing and chose Xtream Paintball in Saint-Nicolas (just 15 minutes from downtown Quebec City). We were seeking something adventurous, social, and a little off-the-screen—and we found all that and more amid bunkers, trees and tactical dust.

We arrived under a crisp autumn sky, pulling into the big open lot at 1925 chemin Lambert. The fields stretched out before us: wooded zones, a two-storey “prison” scenario, a village setup, and wide clearings ready for action. The staging area offered picnic tables, gear racks, and a view across the play zone that made us grin before we even stepped on field. Staff greeted us cheerfully, handled waivers efficiently, and got us suited up in rental masks, markers and protective gear. It felt both organized and exciting—a perfect blend for a day out.

We opted for a “Full Day Airsoft & Paintball Mix” package (given the terrain is shared) that gave us access to multiple zones across roughly 800,000 square feet. Our group of eight split into two teams (“Team Timber vs. Team Blaze”), geared up and headed for the first field—a dense forest zone with tree cover and natural obstacles. The morning chill didn’t slow us; if anything, it added to the readiness.

The first mission was “Claim the Flag” in the woods: tree trunks as cover, underbrush hiding sneaky advances, the scent of dirt and leaves underfoot. I ducked behind a log, waited for my teammate to signal, then sprinted out to grab the flag—just in time to get tagged. The rush was real; the camaraderie stronger.

Our next game brought us to the two-storey prison scenario: corridors, catwalks, vantage points and surprises at every corner. We set up flanks, called suppressive fire, and high-fived when we executed a push flawlessly. The variation in terrain—forest to industrial layout—kept the energy high and the run-style shifting every round.

Between matches we paused in a spectator-friendly zone: gear off, chilled water in hand, laughs echoing across the fields as we recounted close calls and planned our next tactic.

What Made It Stand Out

Majestic terrain flexibility—from wooded cover to themed zones—kept each match fresh.

Airsoft/paintball blend opportunities meant players of varied comfort levels could join in.

The group-friendly structure made it easy to stay together, laugh together and feel part of the action.

Staff support and field design meant minimal downtime and constant movement.

By afternoon we were dusty, buzzing with adrenaline, voices hoarse from laughter and commands. My legs felt the sprinting, my senses sharpened from the flanking, and my smile lingered long after gear off. Driving home, the lighting softened, and our chatter filled the car—“I didn’t see you come around the left,” “That push brought us the win,” “We need to come back with more ammo next time.”

Xtream Paintball gifted us more than matches; it delivered memories of action, friendship, strategy and raw enjoyment. If you’re looking to escape the routine and dive into a day of tactical fun with friends or family—this is your venue. Rating: 5/5 — immersive, energetic and utterly memorable.
