Command Decisions Wargames Center (CDWC) sits just outside Taylorsville, North Carolina, off Highway 127, in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge.
Nearly 70 acres of woodsball terrain hold more than ten bases, a simulated city, a fort, and a helipad, hosting paintball, airsoft, and Nerf wars. Players can rent gear or bring their own, with paintball operating as a field-purchased-paint-only facility. The field is famous for Fulda Gap, one of the largest paintball and airsoft scenario events in the country, alongside themed weekends like Gangster Paradise, Platoon Leader, and Theta Cell.
Beyond open play, CDWC offers corporate teambuilding, security training, and law-enforcement and military exercises, and it welcomes church groups, bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays, and private outings. A fully stocked pro shop with CO2 and HPA refills and a Tippmann Authorized Repair Center sits on-site, and Nerf wars give younger players a chance to join the action.
